It has more to do with the fact that way back when, the only 'approved'subject for art and music and stuff in Europe had to be Christian in nature, or else!!! And since the majority of Europeans are Caucasian,and their available models/basis of comparisons were Caucasian, that's why Jesus and stuff like that are considered Caucasian.

Kinda painting with a broad brush aren't ya?
I don't believe they were all "white" or that Jesus was, IS white. My question is how can you make a blanket statement like that when you can't possibly know every Christians opinion. And how is it you read into the King James that all peoples were white. There's a race issue here but it has nothing to do with anyone else, just you. Get your eyes off man and get em on God.

Every people portray heroes etc. as their own colour.
I can't see how King James helped much other than making the Bible more available.
I hope you read a'' of the Colour of Jesus stuff on the website below
~~~~~~
Q -- Can you give me a straight answer to this question? I have asked many
people and everyone seems to "him and haw". My question is -----
" What colour of skin did the man known as Jesus Christ have ? "
A -- No problem ! I can answer you. Your answer in one word "Brown" !
All the people on this planet Earth are descendants from the first couple -
Adam and Eve. We are ALL just shades of that same colour !
Hold a sheet of Real White and Real Black paper up against your skin.
I can tell you "for certain" that your skin colour matches neither of these
paper colour samples. We are all "off white - or - BROWN !
WE ARE ALL OF THE SAME COLOUR because we are all indeed
descendants of that couple. Because of protective pigmentation we
are of different shades indeed.
What a beautiful example of how OUR MAKER designed us and built
a protective system into our skins to protect us from the suns rays !
Few people realize that The Bible does not say anything in opposition to
what is referred to as "mixed marriages". This is precisely why.
If "mixed marriages" do not work in our society, as it is today, it is because
of the arrogance of man. To "prove" superiority they often use gross
misinterpretations of Bible passages or misapply a Bible passage to
make it look like it proves them correct.
There's an old saying along the lines of history is written by the victors. Well, all of the Romans and Popes have been white...so, it would stand to reason that the Bible...especially the King James version...would be populated with mostly whites...
First of all ninety percent of the biblical characters were jews with the features of people who live in the mediteranean area. Adam and Eve were not black because black characteristics are qualities of a location with extreme heat and direct sun. Nor were they blond haired blue eyed because this is a nordic cold weather characteristic. The Garden was perfect temperature wise -moderate. And its location is thought to have been in the Iran /Iraq area
What exactly does that have to do with anything? why do black people hold onto that. Show me where it says he was any color. I could careless if he was purple or green. It is what he did that counts but obviously you missed that part since you cannot get rid of the chip on your shoulder.
i've often had that same thought (i'm caucasion myself). i guess when we read something we just create a picture in our minds of what we're most comfortable/used to seeing. i think that would still be the case even if there had been no king james. obviously the bulk of the characters in the bible are jewish but we don't seem to picture it that way.
I think King James had a lot to do with it. He basically made the Bible to fit his point-of-view.
