Compare this to the more graphic Enoch(Book 1) chapters 6-11.

And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another, " Come let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children." ...

Actually the proper translation is the "sons of God". But I do not see the passage in regards to "angels lusting".

My Bible translates different for passage 4. It just depends on the version of your Bible. Mine is the New American Standard and for the word "Giants" in yours it says "Nephilim" and speaks about how "Those were mighty men who wer of old, men renown"

We were made in the image of God and are his children, so therefore I believe it is more saying the human men had relations with human women and therefore had children. And God said his spirit could not be with them all the time, because back then, like now God made us with wills to make our own decisions, and knew he didn't make humans to control their every move.

These passages come right before he chooses Noah for the Ark. So obvious, from what passage 5 says about how the wickedness of man was great...that the humans of that time were sinning greatly.

So to answer your question...no I don't think angels physically mated with women.

Well, it seems you answered your own question. The Bible Answer Man will disagree with your conclusion, and he is always right. Just ask him. Well, don't ask him; you won't get a word in because this know-it-all self appointed "expert" will steam roll right over you. He will arrogantly say that the Sons of God refers to the descendants of Seth and the daughters of men are non Sethites. He will say that we are all sons of God through faith, and angels can't marry. And because he won't allow you two words, he wins. What a guy! Truth is I look at the facts, make my conclusion, and refrain from arguing with stupid people. He just happens to be one very infamous stupid person. Besides, I don't find the subject so earth shaking that I just have to talk about it. I make note that the Bible fairly glosses over these mighty men of renown who were famous in the earth. Seems like all the good parts are left out.
