my hair color is brown, but when ever i put gel in it or if it is wet it looks black?

i noticed it and everyone else that sees me notcies it. And when my hair appears darker it makes me look even better. why is this????

actually to that last clown who commented, i'm absolutely amazingly good looking....you are one of those people that is bitter and jealous of good looking people because you have to put effort into getting girls. you hate the fact that girls come to good looking people like me. i'm amazingly good looking---i said it again, and you can say oh yea hes just saying that cuz i can't see him--well maybe you can't see me but when i wake up tommorow morning and look in my mirror at least I'll know.....you loser

Not sure exactly why. But many people's hair looks darker when it is wet. Mine is naturally blonde...but looks light brown when wet. And maybe you have the kind of coloring to your face and skin that will support a darker hair shade, thus the whole looking better with darker hair thing you mentioned.
