Why do people believe in Evolution(Ape to man or whatever) when scientists have already proven it wrong?

Charles Darwin said before he died that he didnt believe his theory anymore..

There are so many different reasons that Evolution is proved wrong.

I read about the finches...and how they evolved...and of course i mean they breed or w/e with other birds and i dont care about them but whenever i hear about evolution it makes me mad.

NOT ON HIS DEATHBED....but before he died he told his sibling that he did not believe it

It is amazing that even though there is no solid scientific evidence to support evolution, and even though many
non-religious people understand that evolution cannot proved, people still hang on to it.

But you asked why. Many reasons. Their hearts are closed to creationism because they have something against God and/or religion, maybe they like the theory of evolution and prefer it, or maybe they haven't read or choose not to read all the information about evolution.

The worst part about evolution is believing that we used to be apes. I was not raised in a religious home and we never went to church, but when I was in second grade they showed us pictures of how humans evolved from apes, and I remember thinking how stupid that was.

Now that I'm an adult, it's degrading to the entire human race to believe that we are equal to and came from animals.

Are you even aware that evolution does not say men descended from apes? So, are you mad about something that's not even being said? On the other hand, you are aware that we and chimpanzees have 95% identical dna?

Remember, if someone tells you evolution has been proved wrong, they are lying to you - and they are taking you for a fool and trying to use you to advance their own power in some way. Evolution is the single most supportd theory in science. And, you probably need to know that a theory is not a hypothesis, not a guess. A theory is the best explanation for a body of facts. Electricity is a theory. Gravity is a theory. Evolution is a theory. A pretty darned good one.

I hope you can learn to deal with reailty. It's really okay. Remember, the genesis creation account has two different versions and jews, whose texts these are, do not believe they are literally true.

To believe Darwin said something like that takes a special kind of moron. One that doesn't even know a thing about evolution. You seem to fit both descriptions. Humans evolved from primates, not apes. For over the past 100 years, scientists have been trying to prove evolution to be WRONG and have failed at doing so. Do some research on evolution before you start talking about it. It would make you sound a lot smarter if you did because right now, you just sound like an idiot.

Nobody has proved evolution wrong, it still has its holes which is why they call it a theory. Just as creationism and intelligent design are theories. Humans are still evolving, wisdom teeth, coccyx, parts that we no longer need but are still there. Viruses evolve. That is why I believe the theory of evolution.
Why would you get mad whenever you hear about evolution? As someone who believes in that theory, I don't get mad when I hear about creationism or intelligent design. Everyone believes something different that is what makes people interesting.
By the way that person who don't thinks we belong here, this isn't a section for only those who believe in God. Intelligent people like to discuss things and learn and hear others opinions and beliefs. Knowledge is where tolerance comes from. Religion is a part of our culture just like many other things are. I can hold a discussion about Greek Gods, yet I don't believe in them either. In school that was called debate and learning. I do not insult others and don't appreciate being lumped in with those that do.

You are soo right about Darwin. He did recanted. Evolution is non absolute and presents no evidence what so ever. The little that they present has a lot of holes in it. Evolution is a man made theory that people use as a crutch to not believe in God. Creationists don't have any proof that God exists and Evolutionists don't have any proof that God doesn't. Scientist will always be baffled on this subject.

UMMM Darwin didnt really have a COMPLETE theory. it took another scientist to figure out the missing peace of the evolution puzzle. which is Mutation, so Im sure he felt that way cause his theory alone wasnt complete

PS We did not come from APES like todays apes, they are more like our cousin our ancesters are extinct(95% of all species have been extinct) and before all of you start DSIPROVING evolution do some research instead of beleaving your priest which im sure never learned about it.

BTW evolution is a THOERY for something to be a theory there has to be a LOT of evidence supporting it and NO evidence contradicting it. so it is NOT disproven like some of you might think

Have you ever taken a basic course in biology? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the connection between species and to follow the link over time to see how species have evolved.

No one said man evolved from ape. Evolution theory says that we had common ancestors and that man wasn't always as we are now, in terms of our appearance, our physiology and our intellect.

Unfortunately, creationists have started with their solution (the Genesis mythology of the Bible) and worked backwards to try and prove it but i just doesn't fit.

Scientists have gathered the evidence (observation and discovery) and piece it together to create a solution called evoluation.

It is a good question why people believe in Atheistic Macro*Evolution...

There is no evidence that proves Atheistic MacroEvolution (without Intelligent Design)...

I used to believe in Evolution. However, over a period of time I have grown skeptical of the claims of Macro*Evolution... this is largely due to the weakness of the evidence for Macro*Evolution, and the fact that the evidence, rationally interpreted does not support the overarching claims made by Macro*Evolutionists...

It isn't true that Darwin recanted on his deathbed. If someone feeds you one verifiable lie among a load of information, it's fair to assume that the rest of it is crap as well.

The "scientists" you refer to have theological degrees, or no legitimate degree at all (like Dr. Dino), and are not considered anything but whackos and charlatans outside their own little circle.

If evolution makes you mad to think about, that merely proves your position is not based on anything rational. People defend rationally achieved positions with reason rather than anger.
