suppose you and him have been best friends for a pretty long time and suddenly you realize that you love him...not as a friend, you know...and you eventually tell him about that, and he replies that he already knew that for a long time and he was just playing with you, trying to make you to want more.
and then he tells you that he would give you a "trial" period when the 2 of you act like a couple and if you could make him happy, you end up together.
any ideas?

Does Jesus care what label we call ourself? Is not the label a human invention?

I looked up the Greek word for 'cross' in Strongs and got a description different from what I know (or thought I did) a cross to look like. So I would like a drawing or specific verbal description of what a stauros, or cross, looks like.

It is interesting to lift your brain above your emotions and faith. It helps to understand other perspectives.

Going Along with the first question...Saturday I took my kids to the local fair..My 13 yr old son comes off a ride, say "mama, I'm not feeling well"..then drops to his knees, then flat on his face. Me being 115 lbs trying to pull him over was like rolling over a stone, I also had two babies in a stroller. I looked up at the people around, for someone to help. I screamed for someone to get help. can you believe most people just chose to avoid the situation. After what seemed like forever...a kind old lady selling hamburgers came over with a spray bottle, and two men came out of the wood work, but for the most part..people really didn't want to help. I'm just wondering what is wrong with people. I wouldn't hesitate to help! one of the men that came over to help..didn't even budge until I looked him into his eyes. WHAT IS GOING ON. I know it was very hot that day but would that have stopped YOU from helping?

Jesus said, “Greater love has no man than this, that he lay his life down for his friend.” According to Jesus, the greatest act of love is to sacrifice one’s life for another. This means that giving one’s life for another is a greater act of love than providing food for him, giving him a family, being nice to him, or honest, or helpful, or whatever. Self-sacrifice, to the point of death, is the very greatest act of love.
Has Allah performed the greatest act of love? The answer is no. Allah has not sacrificed himself at all. Allah has not died for another. Allah has not loved us to the point of death.
In Christianity, Jesus, who is God in flesh (John 1:1, 14), laid His life down for us. Jesus performed the greatest act of love.

I have a candy jar that I keep on my desk at work, and I keep it there obviously to share, however, my coworkers are getting greedy and there have been times when I just filled it (I fill it with miniature chocolates usually) and come back from my day off to find it completely EMPTY! I'm getting frustrated, because this is averaging me filling it twice a week , and spending around 60 bucks a month on this candy jar. I know I put it there for everyone to enjoy, so do I have the right to say something about this??

I'll bet half of the people who think they're going to heaven are going to fak up in one way or another and your so called mercifull lord will deny you at them pearly gates in the sky. The other half who actually get in Oh My they are the most stuck up tight asses one could imagine why would you want to go live with them when everyone knows where the real partys gonna be?
