A Catholic, a Christian (they are not the same thing), a Moslem, a Buddhist, a Jew & an atheist all live long healthy lives.
The Catholic never misses mass, when he sins he fervently recites his hail Marys. Once in his life he'll try to travel to Rome to see the Holy of Holies, the Pope. He'll pray the Rosary. In times of great distress he'll call upon Mary mother of God to intervene on his behalf.
The Christian helps those he can. He prays to God, he does not curse, or at least tries not to, he doesn't cheat on his taxes, doesn't tell lies, doesn't lust after the flesh or material things. His life is full of good deeds.
The serious Moslem will pray five times a day facing Mecca. He'll travel to Mecca at least once in his life. He strictly observes Ramadhan, Zakaat and other religious practices.
Same goes for the Jew - different practices though
The Buddhist will meditate, seek inner peace, nirvana.
The atheist is honest, never killed anyone...just doesn't believe in God.
