With what is going on today, they still have any number of "minutes" to go? I'm impressed with those optimists.

I would say that as of right now yes. Usually, the clock REACTS to current world events. I think that if the situation between Isreal, Hamas and Hezbollah continues for longer than a month or so, then the board should consider moving it a bit closer. Maybe 5 minutes? Truth be told, both sides do not have enough bombs to end the world, just themselves. Does it make it ok? No, but I highly doubt that the U.S. or other nuclear nations will jump in with their nuclear arsenal to assist either side (with the exception of maybe Pakistan).

I would have thought less, particularly with the shooting war going on between Israel and Lebanon. Both sides have nukes, and neither country is renowned for common sense.
