I'm talking everything... everyone would be automatically raised as Christian. All schools would teach about the Bible and creation theory. The ten commandments could be displayed everywhere, anywhere, at any time. All public offices and buildings would be run according to Christian ideals. The president would be Christian and run the country strictly according to Christian ideals. All laws would be written so as to work with what the Bible teaches. The goal would be to have as many people as possible in the country believe in or grow up believing in God and Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Note, nothing would be forced on those who are not Christians or do not want to be Christians, however, they will have to create their own avenues of worship/non-worship without the help of government, public office, etc. Also, those you maintain a non-belief or different belief will not be punished unless a law is broken. Would you want to create a society like this, and if yes/no and why?

Some of you answering my question are assuming this is what I want... nothing could be further from the truth. If I were to answer my own question, it would be a very strong "no!"

No, only because I believe to achieve best results people should have the freedom to find god on their own terms. A person can develope a better relationship with god that way, christian or not.

I am a Christian and No I do not think we should make Christianity the legal religion. I fully believe in the Freedom to worship or not worship as one chooses. The government should not have power in any way over religion.

of course not , you cannot force a religion on a society that is based on faith and faith alone . If there was something besides a book that anybody could have wrote then maybe , but now a lot of people don't believe for a good reason .

That's called being a dictatorship, so no I would not. I think that America is beautiful giving everyone their freedom of choice. I wouldn't do it. Plus, Christian stuff is around enough, I see it in a lot of places. So no, I don't think I would do that.

It would be nice to live in an all Christian country, but that's impossible on this Earth! Which is why I'm looking forward to Heaven!

No way! America is the land of FREEDOM. Of religion, speech, etc. If everyone was raised the same way, it would be sooooo boring, and just a nation of brainwashed zombies!

No, no, no, no, no.

EMPHATICALLY NO!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds too... scary to me, having beliefs forced on you and everything run by people of one religion (even though America is a predominantly Christian country already). No. I'd run and go to Canada or something!!

no, because it is right to have freedom of religion, but Christianity should be respected. this country was founded on christian principles and that should be respected. christians should live their lives in such a way that others would want to be christians too, not have it shoved down their throats when they see no benefit to it.

No i wouldn't, because it wouldn't be letting people be who they really want to be, and to me... that is how alot of violence is present in our society now and days. I think every single human has their right to pursue happiness and be whatever they want. I know I will raise my kids that way when the time comes.
