I have 3 tattoos. My first one I put on right inside of my pelvic bone and it is a cross. The design is from a necklace my great aunt gave me a few years after my grandma died. I can't wear a lot of jewelry so I had it tattooed on me. My second is on the left side of my pelvic bone and it is a ankh. It means eternal life and I believe there is an after life. My third is on the lower part of my back. I designed a butterfly with an ankh for the body and between the lower part of the wings it says "Garza". After my husband and I have more kids I am going to add to the design with their names or initials.

I have two on my upper right arm that are easily covered by a t-shirt. I had them placed high because of my Catholic upbrining and not wanting to offend my grandma. I just had a cross and chain put on my forearm a few months ago. Sometimes I look at it and regret putting it so low (job), but at the same time, I got it as a memorial and want to be able to see it when I think about lost friends.

I am Native American. Part of my heritage believes that when a person dies, they cannot go past White Buffalo Woman on their journey to the hereafter without a certain tattoo around their wrist.
This is not to shock, but while it is a visible thing, it is also a private thing. Thus I give you only slim details.

I have a music scale on my ankle.
I can show it or cover it up as I please.
I got it for me not society so could care less what anyone else thinks.I wanted it somewhere I could see it but there are times it would be inappropriate to have it showing.(work, school functions)

Mine are privately placed I mean I don't want to try and get a job and someone to say no because of them. I have one on my upper thigh(butterfly) and next week I'm getting one on my hip(rose).

Tattoos: The Permanent Mullet!
Not my idea, it's borrowed. But it sums up my thoughts on the matter.
