Everybody has a different idea about what God is.
Are you an atheist because you don't believe any religion, or do you honestly feel that there is no creator?

I normally fall asleep at weddings. Note that these weddings were very boring TWO HOUR LONG weddings.

Why do some of the nonbelievers assume that believers are uneducated and naive or have not experienced life "outside the box"? Almost everytime a religious person asks a question referring to God or religion, they will say we are not intelligent or closed minded? Don't they realize that faith has nothing to do with man's knowledge and we try not to lean into our own understanding, but put our faith in something higher than ourselves? Why does that mean we are closed minded?

I'm looking for music that is Christian in lyrics but modern in sound.
Is there Christian music with a fallout boys beat? What i currently have is BarlowGirl and Relient K. I like the rock beat, the slow stuff don't do much for me. THANK YOU!!!

Pride- that’s a tough one, I am proud of my friends and family and their accomplishments and my own, to excess? Probably not but I have it just the same.
Envy- I don’t envy much if it all, so I am good here.
Anger- Well, come on you answer questions here too…
Avarice- Tough one, I make more than I actually need to survive and I purchase items more luxurious than absolutely needed to survive. Is that greed? I do donate more than 10% of my gross to charities and ironically they are usually Christian charities that do work with homeless and displaced families.
Sadness- really am pretty happy all the time
Gluttony- I am not overweight but I do have a hearty appetite
Lust- Well I could probably work on this. Enough said…
And I think I good with those 10 commandments,
So all in all I try (to the best of my abilities) to be a pretty good person, it seems like the only fly in the ointment is that I do not believe in God. That is what is keeping me tied to the bowels of Hell … and I am not really worried about going to Hell since it doesn’t exist…But can you at least see the hypocrisy of a lot of Christians (not all-mostly televangelists) condemning me when I am really living life according to their rules with that one major exception?

Who else, besides me, is ready to pack up and head for the hills? I'm thinking somewhere in Canada where you can live on a mountaintop and see true beauty every day.

Sure, it might be a bit hard to live that way, but look at how we live now. I'm thinking... Build a nice cabin near a good size running stream. Build a small hydro electric generator so that I can have a few creature comforts. Grow, hunt, and fish most of my food. No neighbors for hundreds of miles, sounds like bliss.

Of course it would be better to have a few like-minded people to go as well (could get a bit lonely by yourself). Everyone would get good first aid, EMT, Medic training. Learn about the outdoors and how to make a go of it.

I believe that I already have the knowledge and training I would need, what about you?

I guess it would almost be like the "hippie communs" of yesteryear LOL.

When did you accept Al-Islam & why?

Here's my deal:

I was raised by the Nation of Islam ( my mother couln't keep us all in one place), but born Catholic. I was drawn to Islam, but couldn't get ready for N.O.I.'s racial stance.

Upon coming home, I started back to Church , became an altar boy, and was SERIOUSLY considering a life as a Fransiscan Monk!

Then, I began going to a protestant church, where I began to see the hypocrisy Jesus (S.A.W.) talking about: the "floor show", 15 churches on the same block, all chasin' the same nickel from the same poor folk who couldn't even afford to give it in the 1st place, the preacher who's "gettin paid" offa Jesus, the molestations, the jelousy and greed, not to mention the hierachy (I've got more than you, so I sit up front).

Yet & still I eventually became an evangelist, but when I began to bring in the bums & ho's, The church put an abrupt stop to that.

In 1990, my mom took sick with lymphoma, so I looked for herbs for her at a shop. I ran into a Muslim who was more than helpful. He accepted a ride from me with his kid in tow. I asked him was he concerned in that he didm't know me, and he told me "Ma' sha'allah" (Allah has deemed it so...).

I remembered the comfort of praying directly to God without man's interference. It was so peaceful.

1 month before my mom died, I made my declaration. No one from any of the churches she attended gave any support, except one of the Senior female members who"saw" to my father while my mom was sick. (She's now his wife. How Christian...)

When you go to Friday prayer, you truly understand that Allah(S.W.T. ) is no respector of person. You will see a homeles person next to a banker. A plumber next to a doctor. But when the call to prayer is heard, ALL bow down equally before Allah.

That is why I changed my religion...

My fiance, who was raised by his Thai mother and his Puerto Rican step-mother, believes that PMS is the American woman's excuse to be b*tchy. Although he believes that we American women suffer the symptoms of PMS he believes it's mental due to "brainwashing" by American culture. He's convinced that there are no other nationality that experiences PMS.

I've lived all over the world; unfortunately this topic never came up. Do other cultures experience PMS? Is it exactly like the "American version"? How do other cultures deal with PMS?

Mohmmad was chased away from mecca, after that he got some kind of enlightment in a cave.he captured medina by force and after that it took him nearly a decade to capture mecca by his followers by military conquest. The rulers were forced to convert. In the succesive years many of your warriors went on great ventures easwards destroyed many places of worship of Zorastrians and non believers, destroyed many great civilizations and went all the way to India ,COUNTLESS historical data proves that your people coverted under the swords. No monarchy converted readily
Now the world is democratic & more powerful that is why you do not posses your old abilities (that is why the terrorist destroy Hindu temples,90% of all terrorist are muslims and they attack on grounds of religion).
Dont you know a WW 3 can spark of and many of your people can be killed .so when will you jihadis stop.
(No i am not achristian)
AND ANOTHER THING
Mohmmad said that all his muslims should stay together in an Islamic country and not with Infidels, so why are more than 14 crore of you staying in India after partition go to Pakistan which has been created for you. Why you are staying in Briain, France and Other Western Countries of Infidels(just because they are so advanced and better than you)

In other words, you can replace the $ axis with "Devil's Influence".

When people pause to think about life, it falls:
- It fell into the Great Depression after the Roaring '20's
- It fell after 9/11 following the decadence of the '90s

shouldn't the cashier hand me my change instead of sliding it across the counter? I worked as a cashier at a convenience store while in college, and I remember how irritated I became when people would pay for something and slide the money to me across the counter instead of handing it to me, so I don't do this. Why do some cashiers do it when handing you change? I don't think it's a matter of germs/dirt on a person's hands. If it is, they need to re-think their outlook on that...money is incredibly filthy...sometimes moreso than a person's hands.

What would you do in this case? (you hand a cashier money, she slides change across the counter to you) Would you say something, keep quiet and pretend nothing was wrong, complain to a manager...what?
