Thanks for the friendly question.
I honestly think(reason above emotion) that there is no creator.
I see no credible evidence of his existence.I know the Bible is written years after the events.I know famous characters like Mozes or King David never existed.
There were almost 200 gospels and they choose four that fitted their interest best at the time.
Furthermore I see lots of misery caused in the name of religion.
I do respect religious freedom but only if that goes both ways.
Atheists should be more assertive about their idea's.
I would also like to say that most of us don't live in a moral vacuum. We do have values and a lot of us are decent people.I myself for instance live by what I consider to be Human Christean values.Like forgiveness and compassion ,love for your fellow man
Most atheists do not claim that everything in every religion is bad. It's just that I can not sincerely believe in God.

I honestly feel that the whole concept is illogical and laughable.
I asked the question earlier about how there could be free will AND a god who knows all and created everything when these two ideas are complete contradictions. Every answer I received further proved that religious people are incapable of even thinking of their imaginary god in philosophical terms without resorting to absurd fallacies. It's not just that religious thought is preached by people incapable of using logic, it's that the religion is illogical to begin with.
The fact that ignorant people are the ones promoting it just adds to the orgy of stupidity.

I don't believe in a god because there is no evidence of a god or creation that can't explained through rational thought and data.
For example: life. Either a magic man said and it was instantly so. Or complexity and diversity evolved over a gruesomely long period of time. The latter can be explained through rational reasoning and is backed up by data. The former is no different from a child's wish.

well im agnostic, not athiest, but i believe there is no real way of knowing if god exists, there is not concrete proof of any religion being right, so i refrain from taking part in any of them, i believe there has to be some sort of energy maybe that keeps the world going but a conciencse creator is a little hard to believe

Why do people have a need to believe in the existence of a god ?
1. we believed in spirits.
2. in many gods.
3. there can only be one god.
4. there is no god.
Humans are herd animals and therefore behave as such.
The dominant bull: Kings, presidents, pope, etc.
Not being able to explain our environment and human leaders being fallible, we created the ultimate leader, god.

God is the end result of a failed search for truth by a very shallow mind, provided that any search was made at all instead of swallowing the pile of delusional bilge that was spoon fed to you as a child

yes, no creator in the divine sense. Although, I personally believe that some intellegent advanced alien people altered our primate ancestors' DNA and helped to further our intellectual developement. It's just a theory, but I like it.

There is no creator . The world is formed by nature. I am a born Buddhist. I follow Dhamma for my daily life. Buddha is my teacher and he is dead now. There is no GOD.
