While I don't understand the nuances of your culture, I agree with the first answer.

Why is she in distress? Failed marriage or having an affair?

A failed marriage for incompatibility (arranged marriage?) is not a moral flaw but a recognition of the inevitable. Rehabilitate by giving her an education to financially stand on her own, THEN find a suitable companion. (Sorry if I'm a typical westerner.)

For having an affair: Deal with the causality. Why did she do this and what will be her defense the next time?

Firstly, a woman who got divorced does not need to be "rehabilitated". People suffering from an addiction or injury need rehabilitation. She needs SUPPORT.
The best way to help a woman who got divorced is to help her raise her self esteem and spirits by encouraging her to rediscover herself as an individual. She needs to develop interests and relationships with friends and family independently. Religious activities, hobbies, education and career advancement, and exercising are all great things for her to involve herself with. Focusing on building a new life without her ex-husband rather than concentrating endlessly on her loss will help her tremendously. She needs to mourn the lost relationship, but not to dwell on it.

Not sure if I understand fully your question. Are you saying that a divorced woman needs rehabilitation because she is 'fallen'?

I don't think your going to get much sympathy for that position here. In America, men are always the "dogs" and women that get rid of them are heroic, strong and courageous. Too much Oprah!

The first thing you need to do is lose the attitude that a woman needs to be "rehabilitated" because she got divorced. She may need moral support, but she hasn't committed an offense for which she needs rehabilitation.
