Brighton in the UK has a large gay and lesbian population. Quite common to see women walking hand in hand there. I know some lesbians who kind of took themselves off to Australia. Just getting away from family can be a good move for a few years until you can be a little more open about the relationship, for example live together as 'friends'.

Lisa Dear, look no further than one of Englands former colonies. Come to Canada. Gay marriage is LEGAL and gays have full rights under the law. Also, foreigners can marry here. Check it out http://www.borderconnections.com/same-sex-immigration.html for more info.
Cheers

It depends on the country's laws that you want to move to.
If its USA you are screwed! If its UK then their immigration policy is the same for a hetro couple as a homo couple.

i guess you'd have to check out their laws on it. personally i wouldn't be all about the gay marriage thing, but that's just me. i'm a christian and God says it's wrong. however, i have gay friends, and they're fun to talk to etc. either way...i'm not sure i'd move to another country for anyone. if it's love, then they'll move to you, honey. you shouldn't have to go anywhere!

if your girlfrriend is happy to sponsor you and as long as you have a valid passport and lots of patience, she can sponsor you for a FIANCE visa, both US and UK... but that is you have to get engaged first!
