What is better U.K. or U.S.A.? Why?

Both...i live in the UK and have visited the US, there is history and culture in the UK and a great sense of humour.
The US is a lot more patriotic and has some great places to see.
After living here in the Uk i am hoping to move over to the US, apart from the obvious reasons i have given for liking each country, there was one thing i noticed and that was that there really wasen't that much difference between the UK and US citizen's...and that's what made up my mind.

Obviously the UK as Ricky Gervais said "we are from a little place called England and we used to run the world before you lot came along!

The USA has its good points we couldnt have beaten the Germans without them but according to Hollywood we werent even there.

I'm thoroughly biased as I was born, raised and still live in the UK!

I have been to the USA and totally enjoyed my time there (ok I only went to Kentucky, but it was great all the same!).

Yes we do have great history, architecture, etc in the UK, but we seem to take it for granted. Our stately homes and many tourist attractions would be in big trouble if it weren't for all the foreign tourists that come to visit.

With the current heatwave we are having, who needs an expensive holiday abroad? Stay in the UK and help your economy!

5000 years of history. 1000 years of sovereignty, 500 years of top technological advancement. we gave the world its infrastructure, we had sewers in london, and underground railways while they were putting down the natives...

they left as puritans, and became hypocrites. they now do with impunity, exactly the same things they found reprehensible in England. and when the brown and sticky hits the spinning blade, i know where i want to be. England. yes we slaughtered billions of folks across teh centuries, we raped their countries, and relocated entire populations away from their homelands so we could test nuclear bombs... But England tempers its unquestioned authority with good grace. we may take their diamonds gold and oil, but we gave them an education, and a passport, which clearly states, member of the british empire, with all teh protection and advantages given to any other subject.

and pray what is teh american position...guantanamo bay? vietnam, cuba, afghanistan, libya, liberia, syria, iraq and iran... each and every one a classic cluster ****. SNAFU. situation normal; All Fucked Up. america needs the world, a lot more than the world needs america.

I'm from the UK and I've visited the US. I prefer the UK. I love visiting the US, but I wouldn't like to live there. I loved the attention a Brit gets over there, especially one in the forces, I simply had to speak and the girls loved it! The Americans are very hospitable, but their lifestyle, to me, is very plastic, very synthetic. I love the UK. I love it's traditions, it's lifestyle, it's history. I'm a Patriot and would never live anywhere else (no, not even spain). I'm a Brit and proud of it.

They're both pretty damn good. The U.S.A. is more culturally diverse, whereas the U.K. is more cultured.

both are pretty good although the UK takes first place because you just gotta love the British sitcoms and humour.
