Not saying that I don't apply the whole Bible to my life- which I do- but if we are under a new covenant in the New Testament, then how does the Old Testament in old covenant wise apply to our lives.

You say:
1.ALL societies are and governments are against gay marriage
FALSE: As a matter of fact, almost 2/3s of cultures BEFORE the Judeo peoples violently (yes, read your history: VOILENTLY) took over had some form of OFFICIAL gay marriage. In today's time several peoples still have it or have reinstated it, INCLUDING the Cherokee of the US.

2. If we allow homosexuals to marry, then what will stop us from marrying our dogs, cats, cars etc?
Wow. You guys who think of this are rather mentally ill. Who said, "If we allow Blacks the right to vote, what wil stop us from allowing our dogs, cats, cars to vote?" I'm not talking about inter-special relations here; I'm talking about two people who are just as human as anyone else.

3. It's unnatural and aberrational.
Check out the NY zoo. Two male penguins are successfully raising a baby when they had several females to choose from. Or the griffin vultures in the israeli zoo. If you want cited proof see Biological Exuberance--a book

I have been praying for a special request from God since late October. Initially I was getting many signs and quickly. Today I don't know if i missed them, perhaps they are subtle cues. Can you share with me your experience, in your experience what kind of sign God has given you?

Because all you get is text from Websites like Wikipedia. That is often a copyright violation. Copy-and-pasters frequently get their answers rated as "best answer", earning them 10 points, though an answerer who put some effort in real resarch don't get the reward they deserve.

I've spoken to a lot of Africans and a lot of African Americans. Each seems to have negative views about the other. To me, we are one in the same. Why can't we get along? Why don't we repsect one another? And why do Africans and African Americans separate themselves?

Once, in the not too distant past, a man was faithful. When a man said, "I love you", it was from the heart. When a man promised, "Till death do us part", no trial or tirbulation could seperate him from his wife. A woman could confide in a man's faithfulness.

In times past, a man embraced his faternal love. A man's heart was with his children. It was the thought of returning home to his wife and children that strengthened a man through a day of work. The future of a man's children were his greatest priority. A man's children were his pride and boasting.

A man was chilvalrous. A man stood, opened the door, defended, and protected a woman, no matter her appearance. All women were precious in a man's eyes. All women were worthy of his love and respect.

A man was the embodiment of fatherhood, brotherhood, friendship, provision, protection, love, and respect. Where has the glory of men gone?

Recently I applied as a tour guide at a local establishment and just last night when I was practicing my speach's in my bedroom with the computer recording it, I noticed durring playback that my voice sounds strange (To me anyway). I have nothing against gay people, so dont take it that way, but to me, my voice almost sounds like that of a Gay person, even though I'm not. It's not really "High pitched" I don't think, it just sounds different than any other voice I have ever heard.

No one around me has ever mentioned it, and no one has a hard time understanding me or anything, so I'm wondering if It's all in my head or If I really sound like that?

Thanks

What to do with broken rosaries?

At the Catholic school I work at, I tossed out a bag of broken rosaries - it was okay, because it's my job...

But even though I think the rosary is idol worship, what do you who are catholics do with broken rosaries?

This has been bugging me for a while now. I know, I know, we honor Mary, not worship her.

But why would she make so many appearances? More than Elvis in fact. And why did she order a church be built in her 'honor' at Lourdes? What's she up to? Or is that really Mary? I wonder...

God bless.
