Jehovah's Christian Witnesses not only believe in the Holy Scriptures, but apply the counsel provided therein in every part of their lives. The Bible states that homosexual acts, heterosexual sex between unmarried persons, and bestiality are all condemned in the Bible. Regarding acts of homosexuality, God’s Word pointedly says: “This is a hateful thing.” (Leviticus 18:22, The New Jerusalem Bible) God’s Law to Israel stipulated: “When a man lies down with a male the same as one lies down with a woman, both of them have done a detestable thing. They should be put to death without fail.” (Leviticus 20:13) The same punishment was prescribed for those committing bestiality, incest, and adultery.—Leviticus 20:10-12, 14-17.
The Scriptures offer no apologies, no concessions, no ambiguity; homosexual practices, adultery, fornication, are all repulsive in God’s sight. Accordingly, true Christians do not water down the Bible’s position on “disgraceful sexual appetites” merely to become more popular or more acceptable to modern culture. Nor do they agree with any movement dedicated to the promotion of homosexuality as a normal life-style.
The Bible admonishes: “O you lovers of Jehovah, hate what is bad.” (Psalm 97:10) So, Christians are expected to hate every practice that violates Jehovah’s laws.

I can only speak from the view of someone who knew a family of Jehovah's Witnesses and has a step grandmother who is one...homosexuality is an "abomination". It basically ranks up and beyond that of accepting blood from others and anyone who announces they are gay within this faith are excommunicated almost immediately.
They are to leave their family's home and the Church and for many they are considered to be dead.
Honestly, I found this particular religion to be extremely unforgiving in certain areas. Perhaps things have/will change(d) but as of last year, a girl my daughter knows was excommunicated for being gay and she remains today living on the streets.
Like everything there may be less strictness in some but I know of none that tolerate homosexuality, transfusions or pregancy outside marriage.

They believe it is a mortal sin and you will go to hell for being homosexual. I once saved a suicide attempt that was made because of this archaic doctrine, which is why for some years I answered my door with a 357 on the day they insisted on coming around...and disagree with a previous answer that all religions are against homosexuality.
There are christian sects that accept this difference, and some other religions don't deal with the subject of sexuality at all.

The bible condemns extramarital sex of all kinds. The bible also condemns all same-gender sexual activity.
The bible does not condemn those who have repented of past sins and who work against their ungodly desires, but who happen to have homosexual tendencies. Some former homosexuals serve as elders and/or fulltime ministers in the Jehovah's Witness religion.

Yip hell doesn't exist to them. and for the good ones once your in the new paradise here on earth you wont even remember your name or who you where in life, a clean slate. so you tell me if you live your hole life being good going in this case frequently to the kingdom hall and going door to door giving up your life to win something you cant enjoy simply because you'll never even no what you suffered to gain it whats it really worth?. Just enjoy your life. I'm not an atheist I firmly believe in God but I don't believe in the bible.

Obviously they think it's a horrible sin.
But ... "Pesky Wabbit" floored me with the news of her discovery. Does she have any idea how long other people have been working on this? And here she is with the definitive answer? Wow! Right here, in Yahoo!
Look, Pesky, I don't know how you realized that it's a "matter of choice," and that no one is "born with it," but you're about to make medical and social history; fame, and fortune - probably even the Nobel Prize. Just don't keep this incredible scientific breakthrough all to yourself.
I'm willing to volunteer to help with the peer-review stuff and I can get others to help.

SilverTongue, dustiiart, have their own views on homosexuality, but if they consider themselves a Christian, or not, it's not their view that counts, it's what the Bible has to say that counts.
Read for yourself what the apostle Paul said at 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10: “What! Do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes [“male prostitutes,” New International Version; “effeminate,” King James Version], nor men who lie with men [“sodomites,” Jerusalem Bible; “homosexual perverts,” Today’s English Version], nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom.” Note that Paul specifically mentioned those who evidently take on a passive sexual role and those who assume a more active “male” role in their immoral relations. Thus he made it plain that God disapproves of all homosexual acts.
This is also evident from Paul’s words at Romans 1:18-27: “God’s wrath is being revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who are suppressing the truth in an unrighteous way . . . God, in keeping with the desires of their hearts, gave them up to uncleanness, that their bodies might be dishonored among them . . . That is why God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene.” Here Paul specifically condemned both male and female homosexuality. He condemned homosexual practices as unnatural and “obscene.”
What is our stand on homosexuality? In 98,000 Congregations worldwide, we keep our Congregations clean, unlike most other Religions.
These are some reasons for disfellowshipping 2000 years ago, and these same reasons hold true today.
Some of the offenses that could merit disfellowshipping from the Christian congregation are fornication, adultery, homosexuality, greed, extortion, thievery, lying, drunkenness, reviling, spiritism, murder, idolatry, apostasy, and the causing of divisions in the congregation.
In plain words: "homosexuality" is condemned in the Bible.
Sure, you have religions that say "homosexuality" is okay, but then, is that what the Bible says?
ThePeskyWabbit is absolutely correct. God would not create a homosexual, then turn around and condemn them for being one. Paul in this scripture shows that one can change: "What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10Â nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. 11Â And yet that is what some of YOU were." 1Cor. 6:9-11

Homosexuality is considered a sin in every relgion. Period. It's wrong. It doesn't matter how much you try and rationalize it. It doesn't matter how much you march, how hard you stamp you feet, or whether you hold your breath and turn blue----------IT'S WRONG! IT'S A PERSONAL CHOICE, NOT SOMETHING SOMEONE IS BORN WITH.

JW's believe that according to the scriptures, homosexuality is contrary to God's laws and arrangements for things. However they also believe that sexual relations outside a the marriage arrangement falls into the same category since He instituted the marriage arrangement. Therefore, a homosexual would be no more of a sinner than someone having sex without being married. They do not show prejudice against homosexuals. They will offer to teach them more about the scriptures and about God's view towards all things including sexuality and hope that they will be moved to make changes in their life as all of us sinners constantly need to do.
