This has been bugging me for a while now. I know, I know, we honor Mary, not worship her.

But why would she make so many appearances? More than Elvis in fact. And why did she order a church be built in her 'honor' at Lourdes? What's she up to? Or is that really Mary? I wonder...

God bless.

Mary is **NOT** trying to upstage her Son. All the honour given to Mary, by us Catholics, is precisely for the direct honour of her Son.

When her Son Paid the Price for our sins, Mary stood at the Foot of the Cross, & heard these Words From Him: "Woman, behold your son; son, behold your Mother." In this way, Christ Consecrated His Mother to be the Mother of His Entire Church as well.

That is why Mary constantly appears all over the world. Because we, as Christians, are her children too, & as our Mother, she loves us very much.

Churches that are built in honour of Mary, or in any of the Saints, are precisely for the worship of her Son. They are not for the worship of Mary or the Saints, but, for **HIS** worship. Therefore, when Mary asks for a Church to be built, she is asking it for the worship of her Son in her Name.

Finally, I would to conclude by reminding everyone about how much Muslims honour Muhammed, & yet, they do not worship him, & likewise, how the Jewish people honour Abraham & Moses, but they are not worshipping him either.

Likewise, we Catholics do not worship Mary nor any of the Saints, when we pay them honour.

So far as I've ever heard, right after the execution of her son, Mary disappeared from history. Mary has made no appearances anywhere except in the imagination.
How would anyone know if she did make some sort of appearance ? We have no idea at all of what Mary looked like. No sketches or paintings of her have ever been made in her time. There are no descriptions of her that have ever been found. Nothing except the imagination of artists who decorated churches with their own idea of her likeness hundreds of years after Mary was no more.

There is a loving force at work in the universe. We can call it God if that is a term that you are comfortable with.

It loves us and always try’s to assist us in any way that it can.

It will manifest its loving assistance in any form that we may be comfortable with, or believe in. This can be Mary for Catholics, the Buddha for those who follow his teaching, or even Jesus. Interestingly it will even channel messages to people who are open to these kinds of things.

The ingenuity of this loving force seems endless. You can see its hand and hear its loving messages in the writings of every race and civilization if your mind is not closed.

If your mind is closed you see only your preconceptions.

Love and blessings

Are you sure that it is Mary????

Many signs and wonders will the evil one do in the last days to confuse many. Many will fall way from the faith, and follow blindly.

Root your faith in the Word and there you won't be miss lead.

Question is what is your faith root in?

Signs of Mary or Christ?

Only you can answer that.

I am not catholic but I figure she not upstaging her son she just another person you can pray too so that someone will intercede for you to G-d. She his mother so why not ask her to talk to her son and G-d for you. Mother's do a good job of nagging.

Have you bothered to read anything about Lourdes, Fatima and the like.....at all of these she calls the world to conversion, repentance and faith in Jesus.

Mary ONLY points to Jesus....she does nothing on her own.

If any of the appearances of Mary are real then they are done in accordance with the will of God, not against it.

With love in Christ.
