Since they believe that the Bible feeds the hungry kids in Africa, they probably also believe that the Bible can make trees grow. So, i wouldn't be too worried if i were you.

There's plenty of bible to go around, alot of people just don't read them. Life on earth"could" die because the trees and all the plants are the ones that provide the oxygen for us. But I believe The Lord will intervene before we destroy ourselves. This past sunday a preacher on television was talking about that. Read Revelations all the way thru. It will tell you what is going to happen. Whatevers going to really happen will be after the one thousand year reign of our Lord Jesus Christ. And yes it is scary isn't it? Put your faith In the lord Jesus and he will take care of you. Most likely if anything like this was to happen we won't be around to see it. Unless, we live for a thousand years. This could be possible you know. Let's just hope and pray that we will be part of the rapture. Because for 7 years after that people will see the worst times ever that man has ever seen. If you can, help save the trees or plant some to help nature out. think about what you want your world to be like and continue to be for peace. This is what we can do until the Lord comes.

Clearly you know nothing about plant and wildlife ecology. Trees are the least beneficial in the plant world in terms of nutrients and oxygen. Blue-green algae supply almost all the conversion of CO2 to O2 in the world. Grasses supply most of the nutrients, that is humus layer around the world. Old growth forests almost have a 1:1 ratio of CO2 in to O2 out, and contain almost all the nutrients of the ecosystems they live in, this is most evident in the Tropical Rainforests, where the removal of a single grove of trees will deplete so much of the nutrients that the region becomes a practical wasteland in a few short years.

Also, almost all paper in the US comes from managed forests that are on a cyclical harvest and will never run out. Georgia-Pacific one of the main providers of paper on the US is well known for this.

The people who are damaging forests the most are third-world countries that remove trees and harvest little to none of the resources they provide, and use the land to build housing, roads, etc. this is extremely common in Brazil and other South American countries. The other people are the ones who advocate fire prevention. Fire replenishes and keeps up the maintenance of a forest ecosystem. Prevention of a fire causes a buildup of plant litter which eventually causes the fires to be violent and erupt from a brush or understory fire to a canopy fire.

Cutting down trees for wood and paper is not going to have any affect towards life on Earth.

If you live where I live, this isn't a problem, because everytime I cut down a tree more start to grow in its place. It is very frustrating.

If Jesus saw this as a problem he would probably just multiply the trees like he did with the fish and the bread.

Don't worry, Mother Nature is a lot tougher than we give her credit for.

No...all life on earth is going to die because the world governments want to all kill each other and the people of the world will follow in the aftermath. Not to mention due to the disgusting disregard for our resources and environment, we are screwed.

Grow trees. If you can print a Bible you should be able to plant a tree.

Jesus would read the Bible online just like most good Christians do.

Well.. here's a little story about Jesus. The other day this guy was being a real jerk to me, I just wanted to punch him in the face. In my fury, I stopped and looked on the floor.. my "I Love Jesus" bracelet was sitting there, and I thought to myself, "What would Jesus do?" So I lit him on fire and sent him to Hell. Why? Because that's what Jesus would do.

No, but it might all die for lack of people reading the Bible and praying over it.
