You are camping with your mate far away from civilization without any medicines or anyway to contact anyone real soon and your friend gets bitten by a venomous snake on the penis. Would you let him die or would you suck the venom out of the penis and help your mate survive?

I was just in a agnostic subculture in Canada and I felt my Christian faith suffocated by a quiet, "We don't talk about that" atmosphere? How do you feel about that?

He did everything righteous as far as his illogical teachings taught. Then isn't that why he went willingly to die. Because all his lessons said, we must turn the other cheeck. But by turning the other cheeck we are allowing ourselves to be killed by thoses who disagree with Christ's teachings. So I ask, what was it that Christ taught us in the end? What kind of role model was he? Insane?

Unlike an atheist or pagan, who willfully reject God, they sincerely believe that they are doing what God tells them to do and Paul was given another chance because he acted out of ignorance.

1.DOES GOD EXIST?
ans once a person went & asked buddha if god existed , he said NO
again another person came & asked the same the same question buddha siad yes
again another person came & asked the same question, buddha smiled ,& closed his eyes.
by c'ing this buddha's disciple got utterly confused & asked y he gave 3 answer to the same question to which he replied

the first person was a theist , the second an atheist, & both of them were firm believer, I wanted to confuse them so that atleast they will think
the third person was a deep enquierer , i just closed my eyes & remained in silence, & he understood it,"deep within search within oneself , in peace.

If you say Having faith means knowing, that's not true because if it was true, you wouldn't be using the word faith.

If you say you have faith that god loves you, you must not know it.

If you say having faith is believing things that can't be proven, that still doesn't mean you know god exist. It means you wish god exist

I would like to see what you people have to say now that I probably guessed all the bullshit you might try to throw at me

I believe that no one really believes in god. You're just a bunch of mentally disturbed fearful agnostics

I am sad to see such ignorant remarks about Islam. I am a converted white female Muslim. I became Muslim 18 years ago at the age of 15. I have never known any system to be more just or fair or to make more sense. Islam is growing by leaps and bounds. I have always said that I will know that Islam is really growing when I start to see more white male converts. The time has finally come. But I am sad to see such attacks against Islam from people who have never taken the time to really study the religion. If I knew there was a religion with such power and such conversion I for one would want to know what all the buzz is about. What keeps you from picking up the Quran and discovering for yourself?

christians are involved in a lot of humanitarian work al over the world. They speak out in opposition to so many cruel laws, and christians often risk their lives to help and save the forgotton people in oppressive countries.
but christians still get the blame for no reason, and why are people still so angry with christians? is it because they are doing good deeds?

Ok. A PhD or GED doesn't make one educated. DOesn't anyone think about an issue before they formulate an opinion?

Example: Someone you love tells you that Black people have inferior intelligence to Whites, but are better at physical labor (which was believed to be true for a very long time). You're from a small town and don't have exposure to many Black people.

Why don't you hop on the Internet and see for yourself that Black people, are, in fact, as intelligent as anyone else?

The list goes on and on:

Gay people shouldn't be parents because they'll spread their deviance to their children. Asians are smarter that everyone else. If you touch a baby bird, the parents will abandon it because they'll smell humans (BIRDS CAN'T SMELL). Goldfish have a memory of only 7 seconds.

Why would poeple rather be hateful because of their beliefs than educate themselves and admit that, mnaybe, they're wrong?
