Yes, they underwent crucifixition in silence. These sages did not look at all people in the word as the sinners!!!
Who is mankind? 44,000 people were selected by GOD!
Poor you! You are the 1 of the 6,000,000,000 people now.
They believe that everyone possesses a potential to be GOD. This was the reason they died for!
Those who gain benefits under name of GOD, did not want people realize this potential, executed them!
You want to do it to me too, because it conflicts with what you believe.
May you destroy your own prejudice and wrong view!

Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross and died for the sins of mankind. However, Jesus Christ also arose from the tomb after 3 days in a victory over death. He is The Savior of mankind and one day every knee will bend and every tongue confess that He is Lord and Savior.

yes, in many cultures particularally in and around the Middle East
There was many widely-believed stories of saviors undergoing cruxifixition for the sins of mankind at various times & places and with various similarities to the story of Jesus Christ circulating for the centuries preceeding Jesus Christ's time. The difference is that the early New Testament writers took the story and manipulated it in as far as possible to comply with prophecy about the messiah in the Jewish bible in hopes of winning over Jews to their new religion, which, to a small extent, they succeeded. However, subsequent generations found it easier to spread Christianity in various gentile populations, particularally by means of invading countries and brutally subjegating their occupants. Jesus's very existance is not varified by any indenpendent historical documentation outside the Christian Bible and is therefore very doubtful.

"Saviors" are only what we make of them.
Who knows, in two thousand years, John Lennon will be the next Christ and Paul, George and Ringo will be his disciples. We are the people who will carry on his legacy through his teachings and his writings.
A few thousand years from now, people will be squabbling over if he really existed and what exactly he meant by "I am the Walrus"?
Except, the great thing about THIS savior is that we will actually have his voice recorded!!yeeha!

There were lesser known Pericletes ...Maniche that St Augustine in his youth followed ...and various gnostic sects ...scraps of which survived the Christian bookburnings of "heresies"...some rediscovered in the Nag Hammadi find ...
But whereas both "Bhuddha" and "Muhammed" ...were considered "saviours" perhaps by "exemplary" paths ... and as messengers...
Of the major religions that have "survived" meaning they weren't movements persecuted by Christians as the sect grew into a majority faith ... Christianity alone distinguishes itself with the morose example that the "most evoluted " among us must always die... Yes Christianity holds that distinction and example for themselves ... There were other Pericletes martyred in varied Gnostic movements prior to Constantine and the Councils of Nice ... but the Christians rather thoroughly exterminated both the adherents of these faiths and their teachings....

Nope. Just Jesus. Others may have been crucified or otherwise martyred, but only Jesus can cover the sins of mankind.

I don't think so, but I do know that Odin supposedly hung himself upside down for a week, lost an eye during the deluge, in exchange for the answers to everything.

only jesus christ..
because he is the only one with no sin.. so he sucrifised himself for the sins of all humanity in every place and every time-past,present & future- but if any one with a sin is crucified.. then he died for his own sin and cant save the others
