I think Atheists because most Atheists know more about different religions and Atheists want their children to know the problems that different beliefs have caused. On the other hand, Most Christians only know about christianity and some dont even know about that. Christians are most likely to not mention all the evil deeds that Christians have done throughout the years because they're in deneil so, they wont even accurately teach their children about christianity

If the devil was being used by God to punish the wicked, wouldn't the devil be working against himself? And tormenting people forever for getting drunk one night doesn't seem like a fitting punishment. If you think the devil is a creature with horns and a pitchfork, then you've been watching too many cartoons. The Bible says that no one is righteous and that you are saved by grace, so you can't bribe your way into heaven through good deeds. Salvation refers to the resurrection not to heaven, and people who aren't saved will simply not receive eternal life.

A long time ago (a couple months), it doeesn't matter if it was a long time ago, but anyway, this neighbor/ slash girlscout came to our door selling cookies with her mother. I thought she was ok, I think she wanted to be friends with me, because everytime I'd see her outside, she'd stare at me, like she wanted something. She's eleven now, and when she was selling cookies with her mom (SAHM with three other siblings) she was all shy and didn't even bother to say hi. What happend to her? She used to be so well mannered, but now when she sold me cookies, she didn't even say good evening or didn't even speak up! Her mom had to do the selling for her. What a dud! Anyway, I let time pass and let time cool me off my anger, but it hasn't worked. As time passed, I still get mad from time to time whenever I see her outsider with her friends and one time wanted to talk to her mother about it. This is basically to those who are always bashing the Christians who post. But I will also take answers from Christians too.
It would seem to me that the ones from other religions that tend to have this idea of tolerance are showing the most intolerant attitude. (This said knowing how some Christians have answered questions are sometimes the same way.)

Because I worked as a cashier there for 10 months and I have never seen such a horable business and management. I worked at the one in Evanston illinois. I was verbally abused daily and there where many times I came Close to being hit by my manager until i just quick because none of the head managers would help me. It was the worst experience of my life, even though im only 17. And when I worked there my brother was acussed of stealing he was searched and then they just walked away when they realized they made a mistake. So I just dont know what to do.

I have been having an affair with the pastor's wife for the past two years. Mary (not her real name) and I felt kind of bad about it for awhile. We have been sneaking around behind the pastor and all the church members. We have been successful in not being caught so far and are very much in love. Mary and I feel very blessed by God. We have prayed about it and feel that God understands, so we go on. We hope to get married some day. This pastor has been very verbally abusive toward my sweet lady and it's just not right. He also refuses to have sex with Mary. But we believe that the pastor has had several affairs of his own with some of the church ladies. They are always making personal appointments to see him in his office, alone! Including my ex-wife.

Tell me, how could God look at the love that Mary and I have and say it is sinful? And how could he not punish the pastor for being such an evil man?

Ancient peoples had a great fear of the great cosmic dragon that would come to devoure worlds, but what was it that they were seeing that made them believe in this? This was no normal dragon, this dragon was big enough to tear a world apart.

The only thing that can explain this fear is that these people were witnessing this happen to another planet.

To the people the planets were the Gods ruling over the heavens, so the people knew they were very much alive. When the planet was torn apart be massive lightning bolt, these serpents (which are made of the clouds and our regular planetary electric discharges) appeared all over the planet snaking their way from the poles. The people saw these massive beasts, with heads and long snaking bodies, ravaging another planet.
