So you've landed that big date...

If you really want to know how a man feels about woman(beyond of course that men are chomping at the bit for sex), ask him what kind of relationship he has with his mother. How does he feel about her...if he does not have her on a pedestal, it is very unlikely he will ever view you as the best thing since sliced bread.

A man who is angry at his mother or has unresolved issues is somewhere you just don't want to go. Men who abuse, beat, berate, intimidate woman are not worthy of a relationship, and carry this baggage for life. This also goes for woman too, how they view their fathers. There are exceptions, but studies have shown this is a valid claim.

Our parents are the template's by what we look for in a mate.

Mine is the one about Eros and Psyche, Dionesius and Ariadne, and the story of King Arthur (actually that might be more like folklore, but he is in my mythology book.)

I have seen the expression, Happy Hump Day, a lot on the computer. Having recently been told, "...that the work week is typically Monday-Friday so Hump Day is the middle of the week..Wedensday." It's not something that I know about so can someone explain how/where/when/why Hump Day originated? Thank you.

When I am asked are you married or involved with someone? People look at me like I shot there dog when I say no I never been married and I'm not looking for a relationship. Should I lie, or start looking before I get any older? Give me your feed back on this.

I am a bi. I'm married. Sex with my wife is great. We make love 3-5 times a wk. I don't desire other women but have had many women in my life. I'm committed to her as the only woman 4 me. We've been together for 20 yrs. She's happy & we communicate about our needs. Barring some hidden desire I don't know about she's fulfilled in the relationship. As 4 me in my desire for women she's the most fulfilling woman & best 1 for me I could've found. On the other hand I still have desires for men. I am strongly attracted to men & would like to have some 1 to have a relationship with. I'll probably never have that because although it's a constant temptation I have resisted it for 20 yrs and will likely continue. I'm not interested in an exclusively gay relationship as I would miss the emotional and sexual pleasures of a woman. Just as I feel the emptiness of not having a masculine love now. Why do some gays tell me I am not truly bi? What evidence supports that most bi are more homo than hetero.

im a new Christian (i dont belong to any church) .Id like to ask you wether its a sin to believe in universal energy and use it for healing? Let me explain my definition of universal energy-reiki: modern quantum physics has shown that everything is composed of energy which, when in dense form, forms atoms. this means that everything physical is energy. From biblical point of view, God created everything from Word. As we know, biblical language is symbolic. So, when we consider Word to be something not physical, yet existing, could that be a synonym of energy? Eastern religions believe in this energy as well, they call it reiki. So, my question is: when i use reiki for healing, is it a sin? (im not asking about opinion of Church, but what the Bible says about it. I havent read it yet)

1 nyt while I was getting my shirt, I saw a hole in my cabinet, I peeked and saw that those 2 boys living next door are having sex. Eversince, I have this habit of checking if they're doing it again. As of today, I've seen them do it for about 20x. I can't help it. should I tell them, so this will stop?

It is no longer news that the church has divided into countless denominations world wide. Can't say i have anything against that. But my worry is that a christain would rather travel distance to worship in a church of his denomination than worship in another in his locality. If we all believe in Jesus Christ, should we discriminate btw churches? I notice muslims feel at home in any mosque. Why is this so? I need honest answers because its so confusing.

Don't get me wrong, I love my nation, but I grow weary of the daily commute, dealing with office politics, putting up with ever increasing municipal taxes, etc. While I'm really tempted to give up on the rat race and try my hand at being more self sufficient in the country, there's always the concern if I will be able to provide well enough for myself and dependents.

When Christians debate about god's existence, all they do is ask a bunch of questions and hope you can't answer them so they can say "god is the answer". Atheists can give other answers other then god and that's when Christians get frustrated and say
"This conversation is going no where" happens all the time.

Basing you argument on questions is a very ignorant thing to do

How did we get here?
Who made the world?
Why do things happen?
Why are we here?
What happens when we die?
Why does so many people believe in god?

my mum seems to think to be a feminist means not wearing a bra and hating men.
feminism to me means being free to make decisions that are not based on being a woman, but based on being a human being. To have choices. To choose to be a housewife or a mother or have a career or have them all. And still have your wonderbra if you want to.
how do you define feminism?
