This idea is based on fear. It sees the world, as being a bad place that is unfit for a child. This is a judgment not a fact. What of the love, that a lovingly raised child can bring into the world. To miss this part of the equation is a lack of faith. Trust in God that all is unfolding according to plan. Trust that your child would have a place in this plan. An important place. Make your choice how you see fit but don’t try to foretell the future of a child that has not yet been born.

There is nothing wrong with choosing not to bring a child into the world. There are many child-free people out there. Check out the No Kidding group if you want to discuss this in greater depth.

It is your life, and you should not be defined by whether or not you're a parent.

Some people believe that everyone wants to be a parent and will insist that you'll change your mind later. Maybe you will change your mind, but a lot of people decide their lives are better without children, and they die of old age with that same belief. So, when someone says, "You'll change your mind later," ignore him. He's projecting his own desires upon you. If you change your mind, then so be it. Lots of people change their mind about children, marriage, and what kind of car to have.

Are you talking about Abortion? Because if you are already pregnant a baby is already here, and you are already a mother.

I have 2 daughters, one was just born on Sunday. But, obviously it's too late for me to say that I don't want to bring any child to this world. I know that the right thing to do is to accept my responsibility to care for my child. The same is true for when the child is still in the womb.

If you aren't already pregnant and you don't want to bring a child into the world then don't have sex.

I can understand that.Theres too much going on in the world and it's so expensive to take care of them. But on another note,it's so cool when you have the experience of birth. The way babies look at you like your the greatest thing in the world.Until they are teenagers anyway. But i have no regrets and it can be a good experience if you can just go with the flow.I know that times get rough and parents get frustrated sometimes, but as soon as they look at you and smile or give you a kiss or tell you they love you, that all goes away.

NO! My only daughter was brutally murdered at 15. That was the end of my family chain. With the world the way it is, I'd be afraid to bring in any others.

I pray for world peace but wonder if it will ever happen.

No. I felt the same way. This world is such a horrible place I wouldn't want to put a child through it. However, after 7 years of marriage I relented and we had a baby girl. She is the best thing that ever happened to me. She is just amazing, truly a blessing from God.

I have struggled with that decision a lot, myself. I feel like, we shouldn't have children if we don't feel like it is the best thing for us, and especially the child. Some people believe that it is a sin not to have a child, but I don't believe God would love me any less if I don't have one. If I had that strong urge to have a child, like a lot of women do, then I would know it was right for me. But I don't.

Do what your heart tells you is best. Sometimes I feel bad for having brought children into the world but all happens for a reason and there is a purpose for everyone and everything a season, etc.
My children are my blessings now, if not for them I would have died.
However, I don't want them to have any pain and it hurts me to see them in pain but to give life is to experience death, no matter what. Even if it's for a short time you have them be glad to have been a part of their life and vice versa.
