So you've landed that big date...

If you really want to know how a man feels about woman(beyond of course that men are chomping at the bit for sex), ask him what kind of relationship he has with his mother. How does he feel about her...if he does not have her on a pedestal, it is very unlikely he will ever view you as the best thing since sliced bread.

A man who is angry at his mother or has unresolved issues is somewhere you just don't want to go. Men who abuse, beat, berate, intimidate woman are not worthy of a relationship, and carry this baggage for life. This also goes for woman too, how they view their fathers. There are exceptions, but studies have shown this is a valid claim.

Our parents are the template's by what we look for in a mate.

THIS IS SO UNTRUE....my honey had a terrible relationship with his mother, because his mother was a bad person, but he'll do anything I ask him to....that's so untrue...he has never even attempted to lay a hand on me....it depends on if he had someone good to teach him....and he has his dad....his dad is wonderful.

I don't know about the girls viewing their fathers in that way. I've had my dad, and more than 3 step fathers. None were around long enough for me to make any kind of model for my boyfriend. I do agree with the mothers for the guys though.... because my boyfriend's mother and I are quite similar and get along very well.

I completely agree!! Not only do you tend to treat your lovers like family, but you also tend to be attracted to people who remind you of your family.... Wonderful point! I hope some people will really listen to you!!

It's true. But take it with a grain of salt. That can also be a bad thing as well as a good thing.
