Jesus says that the Mustard seed is the smallest seed that is planted. He also says that if you have a corresponding amount of faith, you should be able to tell (on one occasion) a Mulberry bush to uproot and enter the sea, or (on another occasion) a mountain to throw itself into the ocean. In other words, you should have great power at your disposal.

It is no good saying that no one would want to throw a mountain into the sea. This doesn't change the fact that Jesus says it is possible for someone with only a little faith.

If everything rides on how much faith you have (as many of you suggest), then how come no one does miracles of remotely such high calibre? Do you have some faith or not? It seems as though by Jesus' measurement, no one has any faith.

How would you answer this objection?

I love the book of genesis, it makes for a good read. However, god invents bread for Adam when he banished, but I see no mention of a bakery. Was there a bakery there? and did Adam make donuts and pies too?

I've been doing a lot of thinking about all of the recent "censoring" that is being attempted.
One of the best examples (and there have been a number of questions pertaining to this) is Harry Potter.
Zealous Christain groups have been trying to put Harry Potter on a banned book list. (Kind of like what Hitler did in Germany). Get Harry Potter out of the schools because he promotes witchcraft.
I've found out that a lot of the words and "wand movements" used are actually referenced out of the Wiccan Handbook (or Bible or whatever the call it).
So by trying to ban Harry Potter aren't the zealous Christains stating that witchcraft actually does exist and is something to fear?
98% of the kids who may think that there is something to it will go out into the woods or behind the house, make a wand, try to cast some spells (a couple thousand times) and nothing would happen. They'd say OK, it doesn't work, and go on with their lives.

There are people who are not American that use this site. Some of them use this site because they believe we can give better solutions. Why do some of you find it necessary to make fun of their grammer and spelling mistakes? Are you that vain that you need to point fingers and laugh at people when they post things to ask a question? Are you that insecure with yourself? I think its absurd, unnecessary, and just plain rude. No wonder some people think Americans are rude, some of you proved it to them. I bash people who make spelling mistakes who bash others for their spelling mistakes, but when someone is asking a help question, and the only answer you can give is to make fun of their spelling, then YOU are a tart.

I dont know how we can even start thinking about ending racism if we cant even control this.

You loved some one so much that after you break apart, the sheer mention of the person's name sends your heart pounding through your chest. You loved the person so much, that you were afraid you'd only hurt more if you ever met again. You loved this person so much, that on breaking apart for reasons that were uncontrollable, you fall into a long period of depression with only loneliness all around. And after a few years, this person approches you to be friends again. How would you handle this?

The definition of "native" is that a specific creature is born in a place, or alternately that a particular species originates in a certain place. Therefore a "native american" would be anyone born in America, or alternately any species that originated in America.

The human species originated in Africa; so that part gets thrown out. That leaves being born in America; so there is no difference between the people that were indigenous to the Americas when the European settlers arrived, and those born in the Americas since that time.

There is no difference between this distinction, and saying that a member of the D.A.R. is somehow superior to a native born U.S. citizen whose parents immigrated to this country after WWII. Both show an unwarranted prejudice.
