I love the book of genesis, it makes for a good read. However, god invents bread for Adam when he banished, but I see no mention of a bakery. Was there a bakery there? and did Adam make donuts and pies too?

Nah, but Eve got bored and modified the recipe that God gave them to make bread and invented Donuts and Pies too. Adam was the official taste tester. When Adam stopped yakking from the first attempts at pastries, she considered it a success.
