Happens quite often, but most are unwilling or unable to see it. Don't see it on the news of course, its not newsworthy unless is bloody and gorey. But yes, divine intervention is more common than you might imagine, I think there's quite a few people who are alive today because of it.

No, not at all. Even if God exists I'm quite sure that he does not break the natural laws, if that's what you mean by divine intervention.

Certainly, God did not create this world and left it to run itself. He's involved in everything that happens. He sets up presidents and rulers and removes them at His will.
