When you say the bible says, "Follow me or you will go to eternal hell", isn't that more of an ultimatun than a choice?
Since hell isn't such a welcoming option.

You’d think the son of god (god incarnate) would know that trees don’t bear fruit in dry season. Mark 11:13

I don't make my husband go to church, he goes on his own, more than I do. We are different religions, so we go to different churches, he to Christian, me to Catholic. I have tried to go to his church in the past and I just didn't feel comfortable. He has never made an effort to go to my chruch and I have never pressured him, like he did to me. I told him if he ever wants to attend w/me he is more than welcome. Now it seems like everytime we go to church he ends up getting really mad later in the day. It is over silly little things, like today when I was watering my flowers he said I watered them to much and was going to kill them. I have owned/ran a greenhouse for 11 years. It is always something stupid, but still always something. Why is this?

Pierre Athanase Marie Plantard (March 18, 1920 – February 3, 2000) was a French author and publisher and the principal perpetrator of the hoax of the Priory of Sion that later inspired the books Holy Blood, Holy Grail and The Da Vinci Code, among others.

He used a fictitious surname, Plantard de Saint-Clair, from 1975 onwards. The surname Saint-Clair was added to his own surname on the basis that this was the family name associated with the area of Gisors, a part of France associated with his hoax.

A French court ordered a search of Plantard's home, turning up many documents, including some proclaiming Plantard the true king of France. Under oath, Plantard admitted that he had fabricated everything, including Pelat's involvement with the Priory of Sion.[1] Plantard lived in obscurity until his death on 3 February 2000 in Paris.

OK going travelling world-wide after graduation, got £58k stashed away which should last me a fair while as we'll be in a gropu of six, going overland.

We plan to travel off the beaten track (EG, through proper rough country as opposed to back packer trails), carving our own paths and carrying all our own gear.

A friend has advised to, in countries where it is legal, carry a concealed firearm for my own protection and that of the group, eg, a small handgun.

While we have already decided that in some areas we will indeed be carrying rifles purely to catch food (very rarely though), do you think the idea of a handgun for personal protection is a bit over the top, even though it would be legal in the area where we would carry weapons?

I have asked and answered numerous questions in the past 2 months. The replies of the majority of Christians were of a loving, non-judgemental nature than all else. I found the arrogance and nastiness of most non-religious, non-Spiritual people to be overwhelming. Most people of non-faith what-so-ever are pompous and irritating. There are some that use wit and sarcasm to "put down" those of a faith, but, then again, there are those who do it lovingly and in good natured fun. Humor is the answer, but why don't we laugh at ourselves, not each other. We are all children of Our Creator. Peace and Love. God Bless.

So, weird things are happening and twice in a row now I have been able to know two rather big things in people's lives that come true: one being my boyfriend's dad getting sick and someone in my dance instructor's family died right before her big recital...I didn't know details about either thing, but I have a feeling that I'm beginning to unveil a gift that God has placed in my life, a gift of the holy spirit, the gift of prophecy. It's still really confusing since I'm not even an adult yet...in fact I'm only a young teenager, but I know that it may be something that God is placing my life and I just need some references and advice on what I should be doing and I still need to know exactly how it works.

I was reading some answers from a question about loving God more than ur family and I red someones answer, they were saying yes u must love God more If you don't love God more, then you don't fully trust him and will go to hell.

Why is it wrong to love ur family more than God? Why does God need to be loved more than ur family? Why would he send u to hell for loving family more?

Iv been christian my whole life and iv seen some pretty amzing things. Iv seen gold teeth apear in peopls mouth wear there was a gap. Iv seen cancer heald. iv seen the lame walk. Iv seen people who used to be on oxogen breath with out a problem. I have a relitive who died went to heaven and came back. Our pastor has done everything exept raise the dead and he believs that he will do that soon. Its not fake trust me God is real and you could get to know him personaly.
