Yes. Rules are rules. Section 8 housing is needed all over the country. There are others in need who work within the system. So those disrespecting the system and breaking the rules should be thrown out. It's a shame people can not value what they are given. It makes the whole system look bad.

people should be thrown out of everywhere if they dont follow the rules. who is they....? poor.... white... black ..hispanic..chinese.. ? how many section eight houses have you inspected.. section eight houses... that get a bad tenant usually make inspections and the first sign of problems... the situation is addressed. sure some slip through the cracks.. and a lot of section 8 people have jobs.. low paying but they work in any case.. so not everyone in section 8 homes want something for nothing,.stop buying into the garbage you hear..and no nothing about... i have seen some gorgeous homes occupied by low income people.. lets not get trash and filthy people mixed up with poor people. i have been in 200 thousand dollars houses and up... that were filthy.. the people had dogs and cats running around everywhere. and it smelled like animal toilet.. the father and mom... worked and had six digit paychecks.

Yes they do! In Florida at least they can be thrown out. Owner of building files complaint with housing authority and begins eviction process. Of course this takes months but eventually they are booted out and complaint is on file so if future landlord ask for reference, housing authority MUST let them know.
