Sin came into the world when the Fall of Man happened. When Adam and Eve were created the Lord told them to never eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. But Eve was tempted but Satan (disguised as a snake) and ate from the tree. Her eyes were opened and she also gave Adam the fruit. They both realized they were naked because the fruit gave them awareness of the bad things are them. So the Lord punished them for not obeying Him and that is when sin came into the world. No man has been perfect from then on.

Law is the root source of sin: Romans 5:13 and the "strength" of sin's death sting: 1Corinthians 15:56; So law is the "strong man" we are to bind in order to spoil the Mosaic hse of law: sin & death. The law was given by Moses (Jn 1:17), and along with such law came sin and death to all (Rom 5), by the curse of the law, which accurses all if any try and fail to keep all the law all the time, which is a mission impossible.
Whatsoever ye bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. Bind law, and you thereby bind sin, and sin's death sting, followed by hell. And note the only heaven to bind law in is the law heaven on the left hand of left/right hands of the divided God(Majesty) on "high"(Heb 1:3) in the (plural and divided) "heavens"(Heb 8:1). Above such plural and divided heavens, or "higher than the heavens", is where "the God of all grace" is, reigns, from a "throne of grace(only)", where only "mercy" is obtainable (Heb 4:16).
Which (law/grace) things are an "allegory" in both "covenants": Galatians 4; written aforetime for our learning: Romans 15:4, and written as allegoric "mystery" to solve, in time, since there is neither mystery nor time for such in eternity.
Law is also biblically "this mountain" we should tell to go jump in the sea: Mt 17:20; Mt 21:21; Mk 11:23; the dead sea, the sea of forgetfulness, so the law becomes "dead testator" of the NT, so grace may be of force (Heb 9), in like manner that grace was as dead testator of the OT so law thereof could be of force.
"Where" no law, there no transgression(sin): Rom 4:15
"When" no law, no sin is even imputed: Rom 5:13
Where are when no law? In "the end" we're told to endure unto to be saved(only), by grace(only), or the end of every Pauline epistle, including Hebrews and Revelation:
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.

Sin is knowing disobedience to God. God didn't create sin, because everything God created is good. Sin is when we know His will but totally ignore it and do otherwise. God gave us free will because He wants us to want him. If He controlled our every move, then devotion to Him couldn't exist.
Evil is nonexistent in and of itself. Not to say that evil things don't happen, I'm saying that evil is the absence of good. Darkness is the absence of light, poverty is the absence of wealth, ignorance is the absence of knowledge, foolishness is the absence of wisdom. When we knowingly choose what is opposite of good, we distance ourselves from God.
