My daughter married the son of legal Mexican immigrants who are now US citizens. We have had the pleasure of meeting the entire family at their wedding. They are no different from any other people. They are friendly, kind, loving, and family oriented. Among them were old disgruntled people just like me, so I was right at home. There was even kind of a miserable naysayer, and one was a great cook. We had a barbecue like I have never seen before. The meal they prepared for the night before the wedding party was fabulous. The mariachi band who played at the party, held in Maine, consisted of all pure bred Mexicans, every one of whom was full of fun and joy. Gee. I guess they were like any group of PEOPLE I have ever been with!!

I hope this helps!!

First of all, Mexico has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and you CAN compare them to Hawaii, etc.-----Secondly, the few times that I've been to Mexico, the people are very kind, gentle and courteous when you walk and shop at the markets. Thirdly, Europeans, Germans, Italians, etc. migrated to Mexico and settled there years ago, so now you have so called "Mexicans" that look more anglos then some anglos here in America. There are plenty of anglo Americans moving from the U.S. to Mexico because of the beautiful beaches and cheap way of life there. "Mexicans" are a type of hispanic(s), just like their hispanic counterparts from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Peru, Honduras, Venezuela, or any other spanish speaking country in the world. ------Do your homework on the Internet about Mexico.....you may just decide you'd like to travel and see some of its beautiful beaches, etc.

Mexico is amazing. Great beaches, not crowded like here in the states. The people I've met in Mexico are lovely, friendly, happy to try to communicate with me, often in English spoken much better than my broken Spanish. For a great beach vacation, check out San Carlos. It's still a sleepy little fishing village, so you won't run into a bunch of drunken college kids. The food is excellent, shopping is great, and the water is beautiful...some of the best snorkeling ever.

I've never been to Mexico, so I cannot comment, but Mexican people are just like all other people,(Anglos,Asians,African-American). WE ARE ALL PART OF THE HUMAN RACE. If you needed a blood transfusion, how would you know if it came from a person of a different ethnic background than yours? Everyone's blood is the same color, just a different type. It could be the one that saves your life. That's why we should not judge people by their ethnicity.

I used to feel more kindly towards.
That is until May 1.
I am less kindly these days but I will get over it.
But Mexican guys tend to be crude. At least the ones out here doing day labor.
Maybe they from some rural province or something.
I was in a twist for about a month following MAY 1 demonstrations.
Mexican guys tend to get leering and mocking when they get a few beers in them and they are in a group.
Whistling and making kissing noises at young teen girls. I had picked up a couple of guys and we were in my bosses truck in my bosses neighborhood and they were calling out window at my bosses female neighbors
"AYE MAMACITA!!!"
they know it is not the thing to do.
But they don't care.

Loved going to mexico- can't wait to go back. I found them to be very pleasant, they are trying to make a buck just like americans. When your at the resorts or in the towns, seems just like home with a little tropical flare. I just wished I spoke better spanish so I could get around a little easier. Thankfully, most of them know some english like I know some spanish so it works.
