They both believe in God, either he exist or not.

Well, you're partly right. They ARE both believers.

As to the existence part, well, believers cannot PROVE God's existence. Atheists cannot PROVE His non-existence. So both are equally stymied when dealing with the other. That's a form of alikeness.

Overall, on some levels your statement therefore is true. Useless, but true.

On another level, however, your statement is a tautological absurdity. For if you have two ends, utterly opposite and these are the ONLY ends, and NEITHER is correct, then you have nothing at all. Including intelligence. Are you sure you want to be remembered for this?

Belief is all that we have, as we do not know anything truly exists. Atheists and Christians are like each other in that they both believe something, though very differant somethings.

Well Atheist believe something does not exist, Christians believe IN something that (probably) does not exist. But close enough.

By definition, an atheists does not believe in the existence of God. So what exactly are you referring to when you say that atheists believe in something that does not exist?

you're incredibly using "power" to recommend "soul". The power interior the physique is warmth from digestion and muscular tissues or electrochemical signaling in neural tissue and a few biochemical methods. That power ceases to be generated on the 2nd of death. Residual warmth warms the air around the physique, leaking into the ambience. Electrochemical power might reason the occasional postmortem sign however the chemical substances at as quickly as start to breakdown/leak and so on into the ambience. The power is conserved. As for the soul, I, like many atheists, have faith we are our brains and what we advance into conscious of because of the fact the "soul" is a factor of our concepts function interior the religious and emotional centers.

The statement is overall false. Christians believe in God, who does exist. Athiests believe that no supreme being exists, and one does.

UNless you know ALL there is to know AND you have been everywhere in the universe, saying youre an atheist is a philosophical impossibilty. Think about it, be honest with yourself and, realize youre an agnostic instead and get rid of your ACLU membership.

well no, an atheist believes that no deities exist, a christian believes that a god exists. Unless you want to go with polytheism, there generally aren't many other alternatives.

Atheists do not believe in anything religious while on the other hand Christians believe in god. So you are wrong.

The difference is that it is a certainty that the atheist will never say to the Christian,"I told you so!"
