well i'm Christian and i haven't talked about atheists in a negative way or try to save their soul...don't generalize because not ALL Christians do that! we're not ALL obsessed with you and those who are tend to get on our nerves too! so why don't u shut up for 10 seconds..actually the only time i DO get into these conversations is when i'm on here...most of my friends are atheists and i never bother them because i respect what they believe too...why don't u do the same?

Did it ever occur to you that perhaps you are so up tight about what some christian might get that you want ( like a lot of stupid rights- that you have anyway), that you can not see the forest for the trees? I never met anyone that cared one way or the other what an atheists thinks or does. What's an atheists? ? ? ! ! ! Got picture, got the picture?

I'm an atheist, and don't feel like i'm being talked about every 10 seconds. Could it be you that has the obsession?

First... to answer the question at hand:

- Us "christian tards" prefer not to be referred to as such, since we don't habitually refer to you as "athiest tards" or any other such derogatory terms.

- By asking why we don't shut up about atheists, all you are doing is inviting us to try and make our point once again, since you seem to feel the need to shove our pleas for your salvation in our faces.

- Obsession is a strong word. I don't know any christians that are obsessed with atheists. Disappointed, perhaps...

- If we knew that atheists were right, don't you think that most level-headed christians (believe me, there are a few out there) would simply abandon their beliefs that much of the world tells them is irrational, to avoid persecution for believing in something that can't be proven? No. We know that we are right just as much as you know that you are right. The reason we keep "bothering" you is because we believe that being right or wrong has eternal consequences.

Second... to respod to many of the other "Answers":

Soubassakis - "Well, they were experienced an implantation of a foreign object (deity) and they think they are better, now that they live without tiring the brain they were born with!"
- Sorry. I don't think I'm better than anyone. Everyone is human. We all have good points and we all have bad points. Everyone sins. We all need Jesus. And by the way, it takes a lot of thought to defend any position well, be it Christianity, Atheism, or any religion, so don't use overtly offensive insults like "they don't use their brains".

Spike Wilbury - "Christians get upset when you question their beliefs....apparently it's not open for debate and if you disagree with you, they'll kill you. Remember the crusades and the inquisitions and the holocaust during WWII? The work of Christians."
- Very historical. Unfortunately, naming the atrocities of a group that claims to be representative of a larger group is not fair to the majority. You could name Native American slaughters of colonists. You could name jihadists and their terror attacks on innocent people all over the world. You could even name poachers as bad representatives of hunters. It's simply illogical to set a stereotype of a group based on a minority within that group.

Fearlessweirdo - "Atheists very existence discomforts them. Just the thought that us atheists may be right makes them feel soooooooo stupid."
- The thought that atheists may be right only makes me question my faith. Then, I come back to God and realise that he is the only answer that makes sense. I find it hard to feel stupid, as I am, at least according to the world's standards, extremely intelligent (I'm sorry if it sounds like bragging... it's just a fact)

jtuckerndfw - "They know they are bound by their ignorance, but too fearful to escape. Personal responsibility is more than a big word, it is too much for some people to accept. So, they invent religion to help them avoid carrying it."
- I don't view Christianity as ignorance. In fact, I view atheism as voluntary ignorance, since the one thing I've never gotten an answer to from atheists is the simple question of where the universe came from. They ignore the fact that outside of a supreme being, there is no way for matter and energy to simply exist. Secondly, God is not invented by man. God created man, and made his presence known to us, not the other way around. And, christianity (or any other religion, really) is not a way to dodge personal responsibility. In fact, it seems to me that religion is a way to heighten personal responsibility, since an individual is the only one who can take responsibility for his own beliefs. I would suggest that atheism is a way of dodging responsibility, since it suggests that we don't need to take the blame for anything, since all we are is a group of evolved monkeys that has no higher standard than our own nature, anyway.

avik_d2000 - "Finally, someone asked a nice question. I was really getting tired of Atheist bashing. Let's see what the Atheist bashing Christians have to say."
- I don't like the term "bashing". It implies that anyone who protests a belief is personally insulting anyone who holds that belief. Also, I've heard my share of Christian-bashing as well. In fact, calling Christians "Atheist bashing" (or any other name or insult) is, according to the common definition, Christian-bashing. Let's avoid having this topic turned into a mud-slinging contest.

I think that's about everything...

Do you aetheists tards ever go 2 seconds without talking about us Chistians? Aetheists do not believe in a higher being, how then can they be religious or spiritual. Maybe we skipped first grade reading lessons. Let me educate you, this section is noted religion and spirituality.
