Hence all the opinions on this forum that state that "atheists have no morals" or "a world without religion would be anarchy"

Where does the idea origin from that human moral standards come from religions? Anybody can enlighten me on that ?

I noticed a lot of this type of behavior on yahoo answers..When somebody asks an obvious question that may seem easy to us..instead of giving answers many people seem to think it is OK to be rude and mock that person..
I think this is especially sad on sections like the Homework help section..What kind of person likes to belittle a child???

We all had to learn once..and what is simple to us..isn't always to someone else....

Shouldn't this site be encouraging learning and asking questions about things that we don't know the answer too??
Shouldn't we try to help rather than mock???

It can't be right to say that someone is too stupid to learn??

What do you think??

If a group of people get marooned on an island or travel to Mars and start a colony, will they develop their own specialized accent?

I've been to several different colonies that used to be British countries, and it seems Australia is the only one with people who have mostly retained their accents..no, most people don't have Steve Irwin-esque accents! The Northeast of the United States also seems to have people who have some remnant of their old world accents and mannerisms...

Have there been any studies or research?

Is somebody can explain me "why so terrorisim" on earth ? I can believe that the end of the humanity will come because some of religion want kill everybody for their God ? If you are a terrorism you can tell me why you do that, is it God tell you to make it that or just an human like you and me. Because I am 100 % sur that God don't want you destroy everything. I understand for the powerful in some country want take of the earth for them but it will impossible just remember the 2 last world war, nobody win it's only God can do someting for our peaceful. Why did his death give us the ability to repent for our sins? Why does it matter that Jesus died if God is the person who creates life and could make another Jesus if he wanted to this very second? I am wondering this. All of my friends that I have don't take me seriously and make fun of me, I have only had one girlfriend and she was a nerd and yet she dumped me the next day because I wasn't cool enough, everyone hates me, and I have had only 3 good friends in the world... but I always loose touch with them... I have really not thought of it, but I think I don't have a good life. Help?

How did you find a way to get over it? I know forgiveness is the key, but what if you doubt his/her sincerety about doing the same thing again? Especially after it has happened three times so far..

Well a couple of years ago,on my birthday.My dads co-workers sung a birthday song to me.This is how it went
"Happy birthday please to meet ya,your one year older one year wiser One year WHITER your another step kinder.So put a smile on your face because it's your birthday *****!
Now does that sound idiotic or what?The one year whiter kinda offended me.But I did'nt say anything because I did'nt want to start any mess.Do you think it's racist?
