Trinity is a false doctrine and Jesus was not God but the begotton Son the firstborn of all creation.
Hell fire is a false doctrine because the bible says God is love.
Hell is just the grave where people go when they die.
Churches make God out to be a cruel merciless punisher.
God is love and mercy. The wicked will be destroyed but only killed not tortured for eternity in hell of fire.
Church leaders are responsible for terrible lies.

"God had to kill himself" - We (you and me, and everybody, since we are all sinners) killed God.
"to appease himself" - You are implying that God is masochistic? Curious theory...
"so that he wouldn't have to roast us" - I personally don't believe that hell is the fire-and-brimstone of popular imagination. Rather, hell is simply spending eternity without God.
"except that he didn't really die" - I would imagine it was exceedingly rare that the Romans allowed a condemned man to come down from the cross before he was dead. Christians, for their part, believe that Christ really DID die, descended into hell, and was resurrected (raised from the dead) on the third day.

If I had heard the stories about GOD in some Christian churches, I would say your description would be accurate. There many different denominations of Christianity today, and not all of them are fundamentalistic. Logical minds find it difficult to be tolerant of factless theories. Have a good journey !

Christianity is denying oneselve's selfish desires and living for a Just, Righeous, Holy God and seeking His Glory rather than our own. God didn't kill himself, we killed Him although He allowed it. He came to uphold the Law and to fulfill The Prophets. He fulfilled Isaiah 53 through the crucifixion. He'll still roast us if we are not able to accept the free gift of salvation, but this roasting is of our own choosing not God's. God asks and requires of us to repent and be saved. For what greater love is there than for one to lay down his life for his friends.

That would be a wrong description. God does indeed love us and His Son Jesus Christ (who is God) paid the penalty for our sins against God by giving His life and then being raised again by the power of God, so that we wouldn't have to pay the penalty. Jesus really did die for us because of His love and since God created life He can surely have brought Jesus to life again. And the nature of things is that people condemn themselves to hell, what makes hell so bad is that it is the absence of God (who is the source of all things good). People say they don't want God so they are given the results of their free will choice. Yet God wants to save people from their sins so that they can live in His grace and glory. Please believe that God loves you because as He has said in His Word, (I John 4:9) "In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him."

Its a very blind description.
When I was a Pagan, I would of had the same description of the Bible as you.
Now that I am a Christian and I opened my heart to the word and to Jesus Christ I feel completely different.
If your truly curious about why Jesus had to die, try reading the Bible. Or this online booklet is really interesting. It explains everything.

OK-ish. You left out the bit about impossible nitpicky rules and only the ones who think he killed himself to appease himself will not be roasted.
