Where does the idea origin from that human moral standards come from religions? Anybody can enlighten me on that ?

Some people can only do good things if there's a consequence (and a bad one at that) for not doing them. Others don't need that firm wrist.

well, first of all, Christianity is not the exclusive origin of morality. And a world WITH religion can break out into anarchy.
Here is what to consider. Everyone has a sense in them of what is right and wrong. And if you were to take a pole across the world with every religion, every belief, every race and had a huge distribution, you would find the whole world has a set of morals that line up with Christianity. Does that make Christianity the root? NO, but it could be easy to think that when everything lines up with what you believe. Without laws, the world would break out into anarchy, without faith, the world erupts into depression.

Ok, first of all I know atheists can be moral. Sometimes they are more moral than those who claim to be Christian. As for Christianity being the origin of morals: God (Jehovah, Yahweh, Father, Jesus, HS) is the origin of absolute morals. Why? Because without God to set the standard for morals, then we're just left with situational ethics. It goes like this, "What's good for you may not be good for me." or "Just go with what you feel." That's the kind of society we live in now. However, some things are just plain wrong. There is such a thing as ABSOLUTE TRUTH. The Bible claims to be this. How can I be a Christian and not believe that God is the absolute standard for morals and truth? That said, I'll reiterate the fact that I know that there are people of all faiths who live a good clean life. That's fine, but nobody's perfect. That's why we need Jesus.

A person can have morals and still be an Atheist. Organized religion and morals are separate from one another. The bible features orgies, murder, and violent executions. If we lived by that example, then we wouldn't have morals, so I could care less about the bible.

There's a quote by Abraham Lincoln that goes along the lines of this... "When I do good, I feel good; when I do bad, I feel bad, and that is my religion".

Whoever says that Atheists have no morals are just feeding into a stereotype. So, the quotes you listed above are completely false. In reality, no one "needs" a religion for anything.

We believe the claim that God is the Author and Origin of morality.

That belief lends to believing that even those who refuse Him can, and should, know morality. There is part of us that longs for the perfection that was, and mourns for the consequences of immorality.

I don't believe that all atheists have no morals, but I do think that many renounce God so they can live as they please. And unfortunately, what pleases them is to be immoral.

There is also the issue of the subjectivity of morality. There are some things that most of us can agree are wrong, but there are always those who justify immorality in their own minds.

I'm not saying that Christians unilaterally live up to the morals God established, but when they don't, there is a standard to hold them to. If they are honest, they will repent and uphold the standard.

Christianity does not claim to be the origin of morality. We claim that you cannot have morality without God. If you want a real life illustration, then please show me an atheist country with a better human rights record than a christian nation. Is China a better place to live than the U.S.? Is North Korea a better place than England? Look at the horrible track record of atheist communist governments in the 20th century.

I've never heard a Chrisitan or a Christian doctine proclaim that statment. I htink your initial assumption is faulty.

The Old Testament is widely regarded as the foundation of the Jewish, Christian, and to some extent, Muslim religions. So you'll hear things like Judeo-Christian ethics" and stuff. That usually refers to the 10 Commandments. Prior to that, there really was no law for mankind. And the 10 Commandments were not for everyone, just hte Hebrew people at that time.

This is just another fine benchmark of a group of people who believe in births without fathers, ressurection, and original sin. If you are going to buy the boat, might as well throw in the oars. Some one appointed christians as the supreme holders of Gods commands, and sole interpreters. You can tell this is a hoax since every sect, and denomination of christianity interprets the book slightly differently.

Think about Atheism; outside of keeping yourself civil to avoid arrest and have your pleasureable possessions, why be good? This Earth coming about by chance is the equivilant of building a fully functional jumbo jet from a junk yard. Christianity provides consequences for your actions. Morality is imposed on you. you would not know it if you had no exposure to a civil society which ultimately gets its laws from Christian docrine(especially the US).

Atheists don't need morals, they aren't looking forward to anything or any judgement.
God is righteous and Just, and in order to fellowship with Him we must conform to His standards, through Jesus Christ. The Bible gives Christians an absolute authority on morals.

It seems like a perfect plot on the part of those who created religion---make everyone sure that nothing good, or anything really at all, is possible without God. Make sure there are rules they can never live up to, so they run to God all the time to check in. Make sure their minds close up like clams at the thought of other possiblities.
