Why, then, is sex before mariage a sin?

I keep hearing about all the violence and disasters caused by Christians, but what did they do? I know a lot of Christians have been killed and persecuted for their faith, but what have they ever done to others? (Please don't mention the Crusades, not really a Christian venture).

I prayed for something and God spoke to me and said "It Shall Come To Pass" But that was seven months ago! I know he works in His time and not ours, but I just don't understand why it is taking so long. I have prayed for God to show me what I need to be doing but He hasnt showed me anything. I just feel a little distant from Him. I know that I should just wait upon Him, but it is hard. And if I pray for patience then that will bring tribulation! I feel like I'm going crazy! Any ideas, comments or anything that would help?

Lots of Christians have told me some of the smartest people they have ever met were atheists. Lots of Christians have also told me that they know lots of christians that are hypocrites. It must be true. what do you think?

Thats like saying I believe this manual about how to make a computer is correct, but the part about the memory chip is just an allegory. I don't need the memory in the computer.

Don't talk to me about it talk to your fundamentalist Christian brothers they will tell you according to the Bible evolution didn't happen.

I'm Jewish and my cousin is being Bat-Mitzvahed at a conservative temple. I was planning to wear a black dress that hits the lower calves...the sleeves are short little "fluttery" sheer sleeves. It is a bit low cut. Should I wear a shawl? My tallit?

Christian believe that Jesus is the only way.
So, how about people who lived before Him? or those who live in a remote area and don't know anything about Jesus?

intelligent design or theistic evolution sounds like an impersonal god

the god of the bible is very specific, god made animals on day 5, and on day 6 he made man


if you say you believe in intelligent design or theistic evolution, how can you claim to be a jew or a christian

They are called GENERALIZATIONS. Of course not 100% of a race is all the same. But stereotypes exist for a reason, they arent just made up. "Asians are smart." Now of course not all are, but most. Also, they are always the ones who cant seem to drive well. Why is that insulting if its fact?????

"Blacks are loud and have poor vocabularies." Watch the WB on a Monday night and tell me if thats incorrect. I dont know why pointing out a differnce between people is considered racist.

I ask this because of the drugs used to control everything and the "conditioning" used to "teach" kids and so on. Why are we trying to control everything so much and are we the cause of a lot of problems in humans...are we trying to control nature too much?
