Good question. I'm pink, sometimes red if I've been out in the sun. At least Indians are called Redskins, that's pretty accurate. The only white people I know are albinoes and the only blacks are Nigerians.
Hummmm.
Must have been because of sheer lazyness.

People have a natural tendency to attempt to group and classify everything around them. Life is more organized and makes more sense to them when things are in groups. They can then attach themselves to the group that makes them most comfortable. People are more comfortable when they can classify people as black and white. They feel they have some knowledge about them through this classification.

Black is not a colour; it is a total absence of colour. White is not a colour; it is a mixture of the seven colours of the rainbow. I have never seen a black or white person or a person of any describable colour at all, unless you painted them with a specific named colour.
