Is it a good tenant to "Hate the Christianity, not the Christian"?
"Hate the Bible, not the thumper"
if only that where the case. God has been trying to get Christians who have His Holy Ghost to understand Hate the Sin not the sinner for centuries.
if we all would love our neighbor as we love ourselves hate would not exist at all.

Hate is such a strong word. How about "outgrow christianity, not the christian." and "Retire the bible along with your Stephen King novels. Don't give up on your thumper friends."

Why hate anything or one? The passion of hate gives the person or object power.
If you reject the Bible & the person "thumping" it, why must hate be involved? You can have a strong dislike, distatse for it/them with out allowing the power loss.
Or are you using the word Hate improperly..like most people do Love. The word is stronger than most people actually understand.

I saw you on the other question... and you said, "hate Christianity, not Christians," but if you like Christians, you should be able to like Christianity. If you hate Christianity, you should hate Christians, also because Christains should try to get you to church and save you. Chrstians get all their information in one source- the Bible.

Love the question, though I think you meant "tenet" and not "tenant," unless you're renting from a christian landlord . . .
I always laugh at the folks who talk about gay/lesbian people and say, "Love the sinner, hate the sin," when it is obviously they are preaching bigotry, hatred and discrimination against both.

It's not good to hate christianity if that's what you mean. What's to hate? A free gift of eternal life? All you have to do is repent of your sins and ask. Trust in Christ.

I guess so. Christianity is responsible for a lot of atrocities but we shouldn't feel that all christians are evil. Christianity is just an evil religion.
