now - what are your goals/dreams. Do you think you'll get them accomplished? I have dreams but they can't be accomplished because of bad credit that is unfixable unfortunately. I'd like to hear what others' are.

If I say I am intelligent, it relates to my personal experience, If you say I am intelligent then it relates to your experience. If a large number of people claim I am intelligent, then it is only in comparison to my peer group that I am intelligent.
If we had some primates and one declared the other intelligent, we as humans would laugh at them, right?
How can we decide who is really intelligent, Isn't there some way to really know???

If you're a Christian, do you have trouble with the idea of eternal suffering in Hell? That is the one Biblical thing I really get hung up on. I can understand the necessity or justice of such punishment for folks like Hitler, but for others who just didn't accept Christ? I am not questioning God's judgment, but WOW. This one is a tough one for me. Are you a Christian who has the same difficulty? Or are you a Christian who has resolved this issue in your mind?

as in, why do they say scientific discoveries that help man live long, cure disease are gifts from God and are good, when most of the scientific community believes things which are offensive to Christian fundamentalists, like green house effect, evolution of the species, the fact that dinosaurs lived millions of years before man was on the scene, the study of far away galaxies, the earth being round and revolving around the sun, etc.
And why do they believe that scientists are in a vast conspiracy against Christianity if they also give us so many "blessings" soley due to the study of science?

I am getting married in October. My fiance is catholic and his family wants us to be married in the catholic church. I have been married before in the baptist church. Now here's where I have the question. My fiance and I are getting legally married before the actual ceremony, so will that make a differenct? What should I do?

Mormons claim to be Christians, but from my own research, I tend to disagree. I want to know more about how Mormonism departs from Biblical Christianity. Also, can someone explain some of the more "odd" and/or "secret" aspects and practices of the Mormon religion? Thank you.

In doing this does it put those children at a disadvantage later on since they don't get exposed on a daily basis with those that are different? Does it not allow them the preparedness to cope with some things once they go to college or leave home? Is it doing them a disservice?
