A sin to me is when you hurt, abuse or take advantage of someone in order for personal gain. Being gay doesn't use or hurt anyone, it's about who you love. Love is no different, regardless if it's a man/woman, man/man, woman/woman.

Love between a man and woman is just more common, it doesn't mean it's normal.

OF COURSE IT IS NOT.
I'll tell ya why..... sin is something that you make a conscious decision to do that is wrong. Homosexuality is not a choice.... you can not decide to be attracted to the same sex no more than a str8 person decides to go after the opposite.... why can't religious people get that thru their head....
to those "christians" which think the bible says it is a sin have not done thier homework.... the greek word which modern church scholars translate as homosexual is more acuratly translated as adulterer... shows how blind and ignorant christians are... THE BIBLE WAS NOT WRITEN IN ENGLISH.... and THE CHURCH TRANSLATED IT

No. Loving a person is not a sin. Being loved is not a sin. Being happy is not a sin.
What *is* a sin is hiding homophobia behind dogma and saying that 'the bible says so'.
There are far more things to get offended by in the world than what two consenting people do behind closed doors.

I don't think sexual proclivities whether inherited or chosen are any more a sin than preferring apples to oranges or chows to poodles. But...practicing homosexuality is just as much a sin as adultery, fornication, stealing, etc. I love (platonically) all my friends homo & hetero sexual but the actions are seperate issues from the person and my heart aches just as much for the the one cheating on her husband as for any other. All in all your choices are between you and God.

Yes Homosexuality is a sin just as killing, stealing, or anyother sin. It will keep you from having the fullness of GOD in your life. God created Adam and EVE NOT Adam and Steve....

OK, first things first, God does not make you any way whether gay or straight. You choose how you are (the whole free will thing, remember?) But I don't think God meant for people to be homosexuals. He made man and woman, not man and man or woman and woman. If he had done that, then men would be able to get pregnant to.......OK, now I'm just rambling.

Yes it is.
You do not need the bible to know its wrong. Look at the logic of it all. True homosexuality causes extinction in the first generation. They are unable to reproduce homosexually they must reproduce heterosexually.

It is as much of a sin as wanting. Unless all Christians turn puritan, then they should stop being so hypocritical.

Yeah, of course it is. It hinders God's original purpose for humankind, which is a man-woman relationship, that's why He created the first human kind: male and female.

Well also in the bible, God gave us choices so if you chose to gay you can. He loves you anyway. Also, in a non-Christian belief, it's just giving people the proper respect they deserve.
