no,worriment comes from not putting your trust in God. God does not punish you for lack of trust. i think our Lord feels sad that we sometimes worry, but to say he will punish us is totally wrong.if we worry, we are punishing ourselves.like if you have a son, and tell him, to break up, with his girlfriend because she is no good, and he does not break up, because he is to worried, do you punish your son? of course not! so what makes you think our Lord is any different.we must put all our worries before our Lord.
