Quran Ch6
[25] And of them there are some who listen to you; but We have set veils on their hearts, so they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; and even if they see every one of the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) they will not believe therein; to the point that when they come to you to argue with you, the disbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the men of old."
you shall know indeed. thank you.

It's a common tactic to accuse someone of being "blind to the truth" when they are not convinced by your argument. The Bible makes the same accusations, as well. That way, both the Quran and the Bible can get away with spreading nonsense and just declare anyone who doesn't accept it as being "blind" or "deaf" to it.
It's like when people on Yahoo Answers ask an annoying question and some guy answers, "People will be mad at you for asking that, but it's just because what you said is right." It's not a rational argument. It's a logical fallacy (an ad hominem attack) designed to discredit your opponent's opinion without having to actually prove him wrong.
And incidentally, non-believers can play the same game. In our minds, followers of Islam or Christianity have been duped into believing in ridiculous fairy tales and are blind and deaf to reality. They can't possibly accept the theory of evolution or many other facts of life because to do so would be to admit that their fairy tales are fiction!
Touché.

You are welcome. Unfortunately for you, most people who say God doesn't exist don't believe in writings such as this either. And honestly, if you were writing a book that you wanted people to believe and knew it seemed crazy, you would put that same note. That proves nothing. It just proves that whoever wrote it was smart enough to put that addendum to explain why people will disagree with you. Let's see I want to start a religion and ensure people will follow me and not listen to others who tell them that what they believe is nonsense, so I tell them that other people are not going to listen and will tell them that what they believe is nonsense. Hmmmmmm...

Muslims are just as misguided as Christians.
At least that's something they have in common, they both believe in fairy tales. And just because they believe in DIFFERENT fairy tales, they want each other dead. This is what comes of belief in fairy tales.

God exist if you feel Him into you, not only outside, not because other people say He exist. If you do not feel Him, He does not exist for you. Some universal law(?) permitted you to be here and just pose this question... you may choose the name...

Ok, so? The qu'ran is nothing but a fictional book to us, why would an excerpt saying we think that surprise us or make us rethink our decision?
