I am the only female out of 35 employees. When other employees are discussing a client to the owner who is male, who got upset with them, if that client is female, the owners response is always "It's that time of the month" or "menopause". The first time I told him that was inappropriate and I would prefer he not make those comments in front of me. He just laughs it off. He said it again today, and when I tried to discuss it with him, his reply was "if the truth hurts" and walked out the door. He's constantly swearing, yelling, throwing a temper tantrums. I am beyond tired of it. He is also my brother-in law. Quiting is not an option at this point.

I like "as a dog returning to its vomit is a fool doing some stupid thing a second time" (proverbs). There are some less cynical bits which are also cool. And yes I'm an atheist.

When I read the biography of prophet Muhammed I found a very strange story that tells that prophet Muhammed tortured a Jew man (his name was Kinana Ibn Al Rabie'e) to tell the muslims about a treasure he was hiding. When the man refused to tell the muslims about the location of the treasure, prophet Muhammed gave him to one of Muslim warriors and he beheaded him!

The funny thing is that prophet Muhammed enslaved the widow of that man he just killed and proposed her marriage and promised her that he would free her from slavery if she marry him!

Within one day from the killing of the ex-husband, prophet Muhammed married the woman (her name was Safeya Bint Hayie) and she submitted Islam!

I am just asking how could a prophet marry the widow of a man he tortured and killed? and how come he did not give her any time for grieve?

Let's say you die, and you don't disappear. You end up face to face with the creator, God if you wish. Let's say He's everything the Bible promises. How would you like that? I have some issues with God's actions in the old testament, but I would give him a chance to explain himself.

Are the theists going to be suppressed by the government, is there going to be a big last holy war or is theism just going to die off as everyone becomes atheist? Personally I think option 3 everyone is becoming atheist now so theism is just going to die off that way.

Does Rob, whose black and born in 1985, have any right to be angry with or judge Mike, who is white and born the same year? Even if Mike's great, great grandfather was a slave owner, persecuting Mike is a form of racism, isn't it?

My mom has vollunteered to tutor kids, teach confirmation classes ---( that no one else would to do cuz they have a problem with teenagers ) and various other things. She has taught classes on tutoring kids, and has run programs encouraging people to take the time to help other people out. And there have been some people that make comments in the class she teaches that people with tatts and piercings shouldn't be around kids. There have also been people that write anonamus letters talking about how she shouldn't do it, like teach the confirmation class because of her appearance. Is this because people don't want their kids to see how people really are? and because if they are actually around these people, they might not believe in the negative stereo types? Somehow it's wrong for kids to know how kind and intelligent people can be, even the one's who look differently. ( my mom has her nose peirced, several earings, and two tattoos. the tattoos aren't usually visible though )
