If you did plan your career path, was it the right decision for you?

I am not anywhere near what I planned. I figure I should have planned on being what I am now so I would have been what I really wanted.

I sort of fell into my profession and am very glad I have!! My first degree was a choice and a profession I wanted to use (Business & Behavioral Science). I have used it in many forms and still do. I went back to school and received a second undergrad degree specifically targetting a few companies (IT degree). I am also using that one in my current possition.
Ultimately, I have made choices in my career that have allowed me to gain the appropriate experience and education that led me to my current occupation.
Keep something else in mind... most people will have at least 3 careers in their lifetime.

I was schooled and it was definitely my choice, was it the right decision for the times it was, but now i no longer work and am thinking of a career change anyway, maybe i might have to go back to college oh what fun..

Strangely, I had my career in mind since I was in 7th grade. Now, I'm an urban planner at a great little architecture firm! I love the job, so I guess everything turned out for the best.
So long as you follow God's guidance, you'll be happy in whatever you do!

I'm an actor, but I make most of my living teaching acting. I hadn't planned on being a teacher, but circumstances happened where I wound up teaching and found out I was really good at it.

I eased into it. 10 years ago my then boyfriend had an import company so I started working there temporarily. Learned alot and went somewhere else doing the same thing.

My great grandfather was unemployed. My grandfather was unemployed. My father was unemployed. It was just something I fell into.
