The religion of Islam claims that Genie's (Jinns) are an actual race of creatures that exist on earth. Anyone ever find one? If I found one, I would join Islam even though I hate Islamic separation of the sexes and couldnt imagine bending over 5 times a day to smell a mans behind.

i havent ever shoplifted,but today the self-help machine didnt catch my magazines barcode as I scanned it , I began wonder if I should rescan it again ,and tempted not to,until the shop assistant came over and did it for me,I felt SOOOO embarassed and guilty,I couldnt get over it ,am about to hurt myself,

My recently deceased grandfather loved the old war films (eg, Great Escape and the john Wayne stuff) in his later years, but had to walk out of Saving Private Ryan as he actually broke down in the screening.

I was just wondering if any veteran was ever insulted by these older war films as they tend to glamourise war rather than show it in a more realisitc perspective like Saving Private Ryan.

I'm not saying that the latter film is wholly representative of war, but it does seem a lot closer than the older, 1960s films, especially the opening scenes on the beach head.

Any thoughts? Thanks

There are so many versions of the Bible it was written by men yrs after facts happened. If you sit 60 people in a circle whisper a sentence in one persons ear by the time it gets back around to you the story will have changed.
But these days people believe what was written in books written a thousand yrs ago.If there were a G-D why not make all of this bad cruel stuff stop and have a real peaceful world

The men teaching the Book are getting caught Rapping our Children and the Church tries to hide it. The same kind of men wrote the book.There are shows that now disprove alot of the bible

If G-D can change things for the Better WHY NOT?

Can we really speak to the dead with the help of the Ouija Board. Is there anyone who has actually done it and seen it work? Is it dangerous to play this game with 2 people? Will it work? Many people think that there are some fatal problems with this Earth that prevent them from believing in an all powerful being that looked at this planet upon its creation and proclaimed it "good". Most of Western society believes in the sanctity and value of life, whereas the Arabs and Muslims seem to put no value on life. Instead, it appears they value martrydom more than life, and are happy when a person dies and kills other people as well. They don't even value themselves, with Shiite killing Shia and vice versa. Is there any evidence that Arabs have a life culture, not a death culture?

Everyone out there nowadays seems to be such a hater. But I don't understand. Must you accept the religion to respect the man?
Jesus lived sum odd 2000 years ago and his life was recorded and renowned. He cared about others and helped others and did good things.
What bad things can you have to say about a man who did nothing but good for others? Why must you hate the man because you hate the religion? If you can give me five good reasons to diss a man so great as that then heck i'll deny my christianity.
be prepared to back up what you say because i will accept nothing but well supported words.

This is a bit long winded so please bear with me everyone......
I have been having some weird s**t happening to me in my sleep recently. A few days before i got the news of a family member's death i was trying to sleep but kept coughing and half wakening up - i then distinctly heard a voice next to my bed say "she's alright" and then a blue light faded into the darkness. cud have been a dream but i was kept awake with my cough that night.

Also 1 night I kept hearing noises in my room and felt a bit wary as I was nodding off. Next thing I feel this pressure on my shoulders, as if im being pushed into the matress by the shoulders - i could not move or scream even tho i had my mouth wide open. My room was in total inky blackness even tho I can usually see outlines of everything. I started to pray, that didnt work, so i started to curse what was happening to me and telling "whatever" it was to f**k off and leave me alone - i actually woke up shouting at what was pinning me down! Weird!
