Everyone out there nowadays seems to be such a hater. But I don't understand. Must you accept the religion to respect the man?
Jesus lived sum odd 2000 years ago and his life was recorded and renowned. He cared about others and helped others and did good things.
What bad things can you have to say about a man who did nothing but good for others? Why must you hate the man because you hate the religion? If you can give me five good reasons to diss a man so great as that then heck i'll deny my christianity.
be prepared to back up what you say because i will accept nothing but well supported words.

"I like your Christ, but I do not like your Christians" I can accept that. Why will you deny it?

I agree with you...I think there are many non-Christians who feel the same, but they don't get heard for the same reason you don't associate modern Christianity with true practitioners of Christ's teachings--its the loud, intolerant and ultimately ignorant proponents on each side that get attention, unfortunately.

People who take the time to truly assess what Christ taught and how he lived his life would not allow the vulgar, sensationalist behavior of non Christians and so-called Christians to prevent them from respecting the man.

I may not be a Christian, but I can still say "Jesus is my Homeboy" without any irony.

I think most people do not deny that Jesus was a good person, or even a great person. I think the issue many people have who are not Christians, and not interested in being Christians, is the issue of whether or not Jesus was the Son of God, or the Messiah.
That's one area where Judaism and Islam show more respect for Christianity than vice versa, they affirm Jesus as a great teacher and prophet, whereas Christians tend to dismiss all other religions and attempt to discredit their prophets.

I can't give you five good reasons to hate Jesus. As a matter of fact, most religions worldwide accept Jesus... not necessarily as a saviour, but as a prophet or a good man. I think that everyone should be respectful of different religions, even if they disagree. I also think that in some cases, it's people who are the problem, not the principles of the religion.

It has nothing to do with Christ. All know he was a good man, even Islam says as much. It is what we have done to the teachings of Christ that many object to. Many denominations find it's a convenient cover for hate. In turn, hate is what they get back. They use the name of Christ and the Bible to justify whatever they want. Most people find it easier to group everyone under one label.
I'm not saying its right, just an observation.

The life of JESUS was NEVER recorded until several generations after his supposed life. What factual evidence do you have to support the notion that Jesus was a real person?

Jesus, Christianity?

Think and answer, DO NOT PARROT OR QUOTE.

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.

Do Gods die? Do they?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides a few hours of superhuman suffering was sacrificed?

What's the BIG deal?

David Blaine can do that on TV.

If you accept the Jesus story, would you also accept this one?

I gave all my money to Charity last Friday.

On Sunday, all the money was returned to me.

I sacrificed for charity. True or False?

Christ was Divine.
You cannot believe that he was a good teacher and not fully God.
Because he proclaimed he WAS God, and that, if it were not true, would make him a madman and a horrible teacher.

He was not a good MAN. He was God in the flesh.

Do not judge all Christians by a few extremest that you have met.
I have many wonderful Christian friends, they love God.
Secular people see Christians as narrow minded and intolerant because we believe what the Bible says. About Homosexuals, drinking, adultery and so on. We love the person, we just cannot condone the sin.
God Bless.

I think you have to give a certain amount of creedence to any religion which has withstood the test of time and is followed still by a lot of people...including christian, moslem, buddhist, jewish, and hindu philosophies. You do not have to believe them to accept them as long-standing religions. You do need to temper your belief in your chosen faith with tolerance of others, however. Everyone is raised in different circumstances, and a large part of what religion you are is where you are from and what your culture is....so keep that in mind.

Also, I think it is widely accepted that Jesus Christ was a great man, a great philosopher at the very least. "People of the Book" (christian, jew, and moslem) accept him as a prophet.

Equally how can a person reject Christianity on the basis of their experience of people who call themselves Christians. Thats like rejecting apples because some are bad. The truth is if look closely you'll find that they're not apples at all, but prunes.

Ultimately the question that must be answered is: Do you believe and accept the gift of salvation that is given by Christ. If your answer is yes - then you have accepted Christ. If your answer is no - then you have not accepted Christ. No where in that question do you have to accept or reject christians. It ultimately comes down to Christ.

Jesus was awesome our perfect example. I believe Christianity is not really a religion; it is a relationship with God. .It's personal. Christianity is about truly accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Should we share our faith, yes and we should try to do so without tearing others down.
