I had a conversation with a person who felt very certain that He was saved this. I certainly Don't by the way. Baptism don't save you that would be a work. Baptism is symbolic of what has Already taken place in ones heart giving your life to Christ and deiing to your old self a new creation in Christ Jesus. We are commanded to proclaim this publicly by Baptism.

How can a child who knows no right or wrong have the convictions to choose to be baptized? I would say no.

When infants are baptized in the United Methodist church, (and to the person who said it's a waste of money, it doesn't cost anything) it is meant as a welcome to the baby into the church family, with the parents taking a vow to raise the child in a Christian home. Around the age of 11 or 12, the child can choose to go through confirmation, to accept those vows for themselves. The baptism of an infant is not meant to "save" them.

Getting your child baptized isn't going to do anything but cost you money and waste your time. Until a child realizes the difference between doing wrong and that's a sin they go to Heaven. Once they realize the difference they must be saved to enter God's kingdom. Act 16:31 And they said Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (KJV) Any more questions on religion I'd be happy to try to help you find in the Bible.

That question split the church in 251 A.D. The correct answer is no. Nowhere in scripture does it say that baptism in any form will save a soul from hell.

no it will not save them. baptism needs to be done just like christ was baptized (full immersion) and by one with authority to baptize (John the Baptist). this is only the begin, there are still many things left to do before anyone can be "saved".

No this is a crazy practice and it is not at all Biblical. Salvation is by grace alone through faith.
Baptism is a symbol of our new life inJesus as well as a staement of faith. It should be done at an age when someone can really belive this and it should be an immersion.

not in the slightest. Infant sprinkling is a man made custom meant to appease guilty consciences of parents.

Salvation is a gift from God by His grace alone. Sprinkling doesn't save anyone.

This I believe;

NO NEVER. I was raised a Catholic, and I don't even remember getting sprinkled, much less asking JESUS to come into my HEART(Spiritman, the REAL ME) and SAVE ME!!!!!!(using my FREE-WILL, of course)------------NOW I know what you are thinking-----IF I have to ask JESUS, then what happens when little BABIES and Children(below the AGE of ACCOUNTABILITY) leave the EARTH for GOOD???(what we call DEATH) WHAT HAPPENS???? do they end up in HELL? NO NO NO NO NO-WAY----------GOD don't lose a single one of the Little Human Beings!!!! They are all in HEAVEN!!!!!! Waiting for US!!!!!!
The KEY to that is this: GOD ALMIGHTY RECREATES their SPIRITMAN( of all the BABIES and Children below the AGE of ACCOUNTABILITY) and TAKES THEM TO HEAVEN......Ain't no children in HELL, ain't no babies in HELL-------no way, no how!!!!! THANKY-JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!
