He was in another form. Glorified body!

2006-06-12 07:24:40 · answer #1 · answered by Pashur 7 · 0 0

He came back in his glorified form, meaning that He did still have the holes in His wrists and feet, but all signs of the horrible beatings He got were gone. They didn't recognize Him at first for a few reasons, (1) He wasn't the bloody, scared mess He should have been; (2) when you believe someone is dead and you see them, your first instinct is "hey, that looks like ____", but you know it isn't because they're dead.

Think about it, if you saw your dead mother walking up the street toward you, would you believe it was her, or think that lady sure looks a lot like my mom?

because its definitely not Jesus and its just the writer's Bible imaginations!! Its like u writing a stroy books..
"i saw something and first i cant recognize it and then blablabla.."

its definitely the writers imagination.. obviously!! anyway, why would there are a lot of elaborations and story likes in Holy books?

3 types of writing in Bible:-
First
a) I will raise them up a prophet . . . and I will put my words in ... and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." (Deuteronomy 18:18)

(b) I even, I am the Lord, and beside me there is no saviour." (Isaiah 43:11)

Second
a) "Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying Eli, Eli, lama sabachtani? . . ." (Matthew 27:46)

(b) "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord:" (Mark 12:29)

third
"And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he, (JESUS) came, if haply he (JESUS) might find anything thereon: and when he (JESUS) came to it, (Jesus) found nothing but leaves . . ." (Mark 11:13)

U know how ur in the store and u see someone you know, but ur not sure if it is them or not? that is how it was.

And if he didn't raise from the dead, how come the Jews didn't just go to the tomb and get his body and say"hey guys here he is" and that would have ended their problems with the christian movement now wouldn't it?

And why would the apostles get flogged and beaten, thrown in jail, and killed for something they didn't see?
Would u die for a lie?

And the Jews said the tomb was empty after 3 days.

if the apostles tried to take him the Roman Guards would have killed them.
even if they did take him, why would they die for a lie they made themselves?

Why was Jesus not recognized after rising from the dead?
That's an interesting question and may guide us beyond what we consider or reality. It forces us to see the Bible and its message with different eyes, as the disciples were taught by Jesus.

Mary Magdalene was at the sepulchre (grave) after Jesus had risen and saw two angels. Jesus appeared to her and she thought it was the gardener, until he addressed her by her name. She obviously wanted to touch him, but he asked her not to. (John 21: 11-17).

Jesus must have been in his energy body without having reassembled his physical body. If Mary Magdalene would have touched Jesus in his state of energy, she would have reached through his hand and might have been terrified, for people of that time were afraid of spirits, as reported in the New Testament. Therefore, she and the disciples had to wait to touch him, until Jesus had "slowed down" his energy body to reassemble it as physical body. Possible? Einstein taught us that E=mc.c that is, Energy (E) equals mass or matter (m) accelerated very much by the square of the speed of light (c times c). Mass or matter can be accelerated to become energy, and energy can be slowed down, to change form, still being the same in essence, like steam can be frozen to become ice, and ice can be heated to again become steam.

After appearing to Mary Magdalene, Jesus appeared to two of his disciples and ate while with them. At first, they did not recognize him in his energy form, when he was suddenly appearing like out of the blue. (Luke 24: 13-16, 30-31)

Thereafter, Jesus appeared to his disciples at several occasions in a room, where the doors were shut that is, he must have appeared in his energy form walking through walls. In the room, he must have immediately reassembled his physical body, for he now allowed the disciples to touch him (Luke 24:36-39) and brake bread with them.

This shifting of energy to its physical form and back to energy (like steam becoming ice) has been reported by other cultures, especially by India and a messenger called Babaji.

This type of change in appearance is different from astral travel (also recorded in the Bible, not by this modern name, of course), where an energy essence leaves the body to explore independently of the body, but the body is still intact. The silver cord (mentioned in the Bible) connects the essence with the body, to keep the body alive while its main essence is astral traveling.

We find such events mentioned in ancient scriptures, e.g. of Egypt and China. Lu K'Uang Yu reports ancient knowledge of this kind in The Secrets of Chinese Meditation. Especially in its second part amazing miracle are described, some also found in the Bible!

The Bible is a book of symbols of the spiritual world and of miracles, which we can perform also, said Christ.

May be some day we will understand the entire Bible and live its reported miracles!

If it was Jesus who raised from the dead, why did no one recognize him?

Mary Magdalene recognized Jesus, soon as she heard his voice.
Mary was the very first to recognize Jesus in the garden of the Tomb.

Jhn 20:14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
Jhn 20:15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
Jhn 20:16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
Jhn 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and [to] my God, and your God.

The same reason why many did not recognize who he really was when he was alive....because they did not believe in Him..

anytime you ask a question that begins with "why" relating to God's behavior and not a verifiable fact, you will receive a human's 'opinion' as to why something happened, and it will be just that- an opinion, because as humans, we cannot understand why God does what He does, we can only speculate. That's why it's a religion, because faith is involved- we have faith that God created us and still cares for us, but his motives and behaviors are beyond our understanding.
