I was told they wear magic underware that has a flap at the back and the front and only take them off to shower. They wear them while going to the toilet and having sex. Is this for real?

Ignatius of Antioch (Early Christian Bishop, Martyr, and Catholic Saint)

"Let no one do anything of concern to the Church without the bishop. Let that be considered a valid Eucharist which is celebrated by the bishop or by one whom he ordains [i.e., a presbyter]. Wherever the bishop appears, let the people be there; just as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church" (Letter to the Smyrneans 8:2 [A.D. 110]).

The Martyrdom of Polycarp

"And of the elect, he was one indeed, the wonderful martyr Polycarp, who in our days was an apostolic and prophetic teacher, bishop of the Catholic Church in Smyrna. For every word which came forth from his mouth was fulfilled and will be fulfilled" (Martyrdom of Polycarp 16:2 [A.D. 155]).

Tertullian

"Where was [the heretic] Marcion, that shipmaster of Pontus, the zealous student of Stoicism? Where was Valentinus, the disciple of Platonism? For it is evident that those men lived not so long ago—in the reign of Antonius for the most part—and that they at first were believers in the doctrine of the Catholic Church, in the church of Rome under the episcopate of the blessed Eleutherius, until on account of their ever restless curiosity, with which they even infected the brethren, they were more than once expelled" (Demurrer Against the Heretics 30 [A.D. 200]).

List of Early Popes of the Holy Catholic Church

2. St. Linus (67-76)
3. St. Anacletus (Cletus) (76-88)

5. St. Evaristus (97-105)
6. St. Alexander I (105-115)
7. St. Sixtus I (115-125) -- also called Xystus I
8. St. Telesphorus (125-136)
9. St. Hyginus (136-140)
10. St. Pius I (140-155)
11. St. Anicetus (155-166)
12. St. Soter (166-175)
13. St. Eleutherius (175-189)

I have a problem with flamboyant people in general...those dudes in their pimp-out rides whose music is so loud it makes MY vehicles vibrate, the lady in the dairy aisle who makes a big deal about buying the name-brand ricotta cheese, and so forth. Am I the only one who notices this stuff enough to be bothered by it?

for example, it's pretty rude to tell someone that they are going to hell, or that they are swine to which you throw your pearls, or that they are blind and idiotic. Yet, I see Christians telling people this, and they seem to be so cocky in their rudeness. Do they think it is justified to be rude when they are "sharing the Gospel"?

Do you think the person you spend most of your time with, whether it be a b/f, g/f or a friend can change your personality depending on what kind of person they are?
To some degree I think so.....because I am a different person today than I was 4 years ago.
I am not saying this is a bad thing! In my case it's a very good thing.

Jesus died for your sins(murder, rape, robbery, ect.) Is that why you're happy with your belief. You get to do all kinds of dirt and trick yourself into thinking that Jesus alreadly died for it? First of all Jesus never even exist and god and the devil are fake. Even if they did exist, What kind of god will make you think someone else died for your dirt? What about taking responsibility for you own actions?

I would really love to hear your explanation. How can something living come from anything that's not. How can we feel love, compassion, forgiveness...or even jealousy, hate, envy? How can anyone look at their child, friend, partner or even a stranger and not believe in a creator? I'm not looking for an argument, or a whole lot of intellectual psychobabble, and I don't want to hear from someone who knows how to play with words and simply likes to stand on a soapbox. I just want to know what you truly believe. Thanks.

I can't think of any other companies other than Knorr, which is a Jell-o subsidiary, that produce gelatin for consumer sales. Isn't this unfair business practice. Does Jell-o have a monoply on gelatin sales?

Where did this representation of absoutlness come from in the spiritual world? and is it god? If so, why don't people say God, versus the universe. I know the question may seem stupid, but I don't really need stupid answers. Thanks
